On Thursay I stopped at Sister's to get a home cooked meal. I have been her many times over the years. The staff has always been helpful and professional until on Thursday. I was seated and ordered my food. My waitress came took my drink order and my food. She brought my drink then came out with my food and my bill. I had realized that the catfish had bones I it and I needed to get another meat. The waitress never not once came back to my table to ask if I would like a refill or how was my meal. She only had three tables and Sisters was not really busy. I noticed the waitress go to a table with two men and she sat down and talked with them, not trying to make eye contact with me. I drank my one glass of iced tea and some fries and the coleslaw. I told the hostess my problem and she went in the back with my waitress. When they came out the waitress did not come back to my table. She ignored me. I got up and went to pay for my meal. I was charged for the tea, fries, and the small cup of coleslaw which is only fair. The cashier apologized and said the next time I ate there dessert would be on me. I don't feel like I will be going back. I feel like nothing was done about the event.

We arrived at 10:40 hoping to enjoy a southern meal, however the staff continued chatting even after looking over at us three times. I am not sure if the manager was there, but feel this incident should be reviewed. We left and found someplace else to eat.
Vegetarian options: Would recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious. Best place to eat in Troy!!

Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Just good comfort food. They have a daily menu and choices were limited but they had what I wanted. I had fried chicken livers, baked sweet potato and fried okra. I had peach cobbler for dessert. The chicken livers were delicious and sweet potato soft and sweet. The peach cobbler was very good. Several people had the chicken livers, veggie plate on my left and several people had squealer catfish, chicken fingers, baked chicken. The only thing I heard that was disappointing was the banana pudding. I have to admit it wasn't very good. Service was excellent and it was a real casual. I miss the buffet. The prices were affordable and portions were generous. I ate all of mine. It was just enough.
Vegetarian options: There's about a dozen different sides to choose from.
Parking: Very crowded. We came in a large church bus and driver had to park in the grass on side of parking lot.

Good but not like the old days. This is a trip stop for us on a tight schedule, in the past (buffet) we were in and out in 20 minutes. Last time an hour and ten minutes table of two and not that crowded. I've eaten there hundreds of times particularly during the Mexico Beach rebuild days. Also often out of menu items if you get there after 1:00.

Solid food, pretty good service, and decent atmosphere. Food is good but honestly nothing special, I mean no offense. Service was prompt, and friendly.
