I like this Starbucks but dude if you’re going to charge me for an Americano instead of a regular coffee because you don’t want to brew more coffee JUST TELL ME. I get it I’ve worked nights. Charged me extra when all I wanted was a $3 coffee.

I would give ZERO stars if that was an option. Placed a mobile pickup order through the drive through. I ordered 2 drinks. Caramel Frappuccino and a iced caramel machiatto. Literally waited in the drive through line for 40 mins passed my alloted pick up time. My daughters Frappuccino was melted, after I told them I wanted it remade fresh. Will NEVER go back.

I have never received fast or expedient service at this location. As I watch the staff I believe that it’s obvious at to what the situation is here.

They are trying to fulfill mobile and door dash orders while serving walk in customers as well.

It’s way too much for the amount of staff they have as they are shorthanded.

I am normally not the type to even leave a terrible review, but Troy Starbucks has become absolutely terrible.
Since before Thanksgiving, i’ve ordered ahead as early as 30 minutes and my one singular drink has not been ready at the time that i’ve arrived to pick it up. I in turn have to continue to wait for a mobile order that was supposed to have been finished and ready to go 10-15 minutes prior. I have been late for work on several different occasions and even on one morning, when the store was suppose to be open, i’ve had to leave and come back the next day to get a refund on a mobile order I placed the day before because they were closed when they were suppose to be open. I am not sure if they are short staffed and are in need of more help or just better workers, but this has started to become a continuous thing for Troy Starbucks. I understand with the holidays and it being a little busier than it usually is the rest of the year, but I am kind of fed up and will not be returning for a while.

I had a mobile order and when I received it the drink was hot instead of iced. I told the manager that it was wrong and that it was supposed to be iced and she said “Well it says hot on the order” with an attitude and walked off. I looked over my order it's the same iced drink I order every time so I know it's supposed to be iced. She did not offer to remake it just simply walked off. I ordered my drink at 8:36 and did not get it till 8:56 and had to be at work at 9 so I just left. I understand it's the holidays and it is busy but that is horrible customer service and just a poor way to treat somebody in general. My venti drink wasn't even filled halfway up (it's just cold foam as you can see in the picture), or even “hot” just lukewarm (warm is being kind because it wasn't even that). I already spoke with Starbucks customer service but thought I'd leave a review too so the manager with a horrible attitude can see it, yes girl I'm talking about you :) If your having a bad day don't take it out on your customers.

As someone from where Starbucks originated, I know very well what it should be. It’s understandable most Starbucks are slower and not great in Alabama compared to larger cities, but this location is truly unacceptable in their time to complete drinks. They have plenty of staff working, but they lack knowledge of the menu and how to make things. There were also 2 employees just sat on their phone while there were over 10 people in the store waiting on drinks not to mention the long drive thru line. Then they also prioritize mobile orders over the people in the store. So, if you want your order fast I guess the key is to mobile order. I’ve been to sit down restaurants with quicker service. I ordered a double shot of espresso over ice and a refresher both are simple to make. I waited over 20 minutes for my drinks. The espresso we got was burnt on top of it all and the refresher had more fruit inclusions and ice than the drink, it wasn’t even full. As I was waiting I also noticed how dirty their work areas were. There were crumbs everywhere and spills of drinks. The floor and lobby was also dirty. They really need to get it together. Every time there’s a significant wait so unless you got no where to be, plan accordingly.

I do not know how this store has 4.5 stars. This is one of the worst Starbucks I’ve been too. This is the second time this has happened. Thought I would give it a second try to see if it was just a bad day the first time, Nope. Waited 20 minutes (which I don’t mind waiting for a GOOD drink). Finally get my order and is absolutely disgusting. And the customer service is also terrible. Never have a problem with the Dothan location.
