Took my son for a celebration dinner. Love that they're open late even thoughout the week. Food was good. The server we had Lizzy was knowledgeable and had great suggestions. Great service.

The restaurant was nice and empty and it was cool and not hot in there. The food was good and the waitress we had was kind. We got our food quick and it came out warm and didn’t taste bad at all. Everyone’s food was good and nothing was messed up, it was also cheap.

Wow, had an excellent meal at Applebee's Griill in Trussville. Miles was my waiter who was very professional, courteous and checked back with me several times during my meal. I asked him if it was new management and he said yes. I ate there around 3 months ago and the service was terrible. This time I was promptly greeted at the door and showed a table. Host made sure to wipe the table before seating me. My drink was served quickly. The manger came by and asked if everything was okay after I had received my order. I ordered the honey chicken with waffle fries and I was delicious! I highly recommend giving them a try if you have not been in lately!

Terrible service. Pretty slow when we arrived. No one came to our table, but several servers were just standing around and we felt just like part of the furniture. Then they started getting busy with the softball crowd and people were getting served that came in after we did. Finally had enough and left. Let the girl at the front know and she looked like a deer in headlights. I will never step foot in this restaurant again!!!!!

Horrible!!! The place is nasty! Ceiling tiles look like they were covered in dust balls! Carpet looks like someone threw up! We went for lunch thinking would be in and out…took an hour and half to get our food! My chicken finger salad had maybe one chicken finger on it. The server we had was a joke. One sever grabbed some lemons from the bar without gloves and threw them on the customers plate. Our sever was a joke too! Never again!

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service at this Applebee’s was atrocious from start to finish. Our server didn’t bring a single item correctly the first time. We had to repeat our order more than once, and even after re-ordering, it still came out wrong. The drink I ordered? I watched the bartender make it promptly and place it on the well—but it sat there for 15 minutes before it finally reached me, half the ice melted and completely watered down.
I was charged for extra sauce, even though the meal I ordered already includes that sauce. The server was slow, inattentive, and barely checked on us. We were met with long waits or completely ignored.
To make matters worse, the salad I ordered to-go was made incorrectly and missing half its ingredients. The bathroom check sheet was from last week, with no indication that it had been cleaned in the past two days. Disgusting. Other staff were lounging loudly at a nearby table—eating, vaping, and chatting like they were at home instead of at work.
The only thing they got right? The food itself was decent—but it wasn’t enough to redeem how terribly we were treated.
We even called to speak with a manager afterward, and she hung up on us. No accountability, no care, just complete disregard for the fact that a customer had a truly awful experience.
I go out to eat so I can relax, be taken care of, and enjoy myself. Instead, I spent over $70 to be angry, upset, and ignored. I sincerely wish I had just stayed home. Avoid this location at all costs.
Not to mention this was on a rainy Monday night, so the restaurant was not busy at all, so there’s no reason for the terribly slow service other than sheer neglect and lack of attention.

Had a very nice dinner here. Especially our server Tamera who took fantastic care of us! All the staff were very helpful, especially to my Dad who was in a wheelchair. Chicken Caesar Salad, Steak and cheeseburgers were all good. We were traveling through town on a long trip, so such excellent care was much appreciated!

Overall a good Applebee's. This is because of those that work there the manager is weird. I mentioned the mens bathroom was slippery from grim on the floor and the stench was real bad like pure pee. I told the bartender and she said tell him, the manager was close by so I did. He said I'll put a slippery sign up (yellow sign) then 30 minutes later made a comment at me and said I put a sign up and I said yeah not that it's fresh mopped but that it grimy and he said yeah. He did not ask anyone to clean it and it was slippery to the point you could fall on your ass. I don't like to leave bad reviews but when approaching the employees they acted like they can't say anything. Then one employee went and mopped the floor without the manager direction because she felt it should be done. It seemed like the manager has not earned the respect of his employees and I can see why.

The service was poor, unhelpful. The server was fairly new and probably should not have been by themselves in our section. The food was fairly bland. Overall just not a good experience and we won't be coming back.
