Service was slow, we had to ask for refills. Waiter took 10 minutes to come out once we were seated.
Food too 30+ minutes to come out. We ordered a fish meal and 2 pancakes meal. Food was mediocre and bland. Bacon was way overcooked. Mac and cheese was bland. Fish Filets were thin on meat and breading was bland.
Metro Diner is better.

The service was terrible and then the cashier argued with me about the free toy up to $5 being offered with the purchase of a kids meal. The manager had to explain it to her and THEN she refused to let my granddaughter have a toy that was 3.99 because it wasn't $5.00. It was extremely frustrating that I couldn't make her understand what it means for UP TO $5. I got so frustrated that I refused to deal with her any longer. She clearly does NOT understand her job. I will NEVER go to the Trussville Cracker Barrel again. It took me over 30 minutes to check out and my two granddaughters were so excited about getting a toy. The cashier took all that excitement AWAY. (Blonde with a Cia haircut) I love the service in Pell City and Moody though and will continue to go there. Never Trussville again, ever.

Ordered online and waited almost an hour for the food to be prepared. Somehow my food arrived ice cold even though my driver came directly from the restaurant to my house. I genuinely do not understand how that could happen. Ofc I cannot get a refund for the inedible food and the major inconvenience this has caused.

Evidently, I didn’t have a seasoned Waiter. He get brings my drink fairly soon then doesn’t come back from my order for about 10 minutes. Seems like the order takes like 30 minutes to get back to me. He didn’t bring my bread, he didn’t bring my hush puppies. I had to ask for tartar sauce for my catfish. The food was not as good as it used to be. The catfish had a lot of dry crust on it the biscuits, however, were some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Worst experience we’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel. We got our drinks 28 minutes after she took the order for them. Food finally came out and my wife’s meatloaf was undercooked and they brought out our chicken fried chicken and country fried steak but said we’d have to wait about 15 minutes for the gravy… how can you eat either of those without gravy? Just wait and let the room temperature food get cold? Over 2 hours here just to leave without eating.

Absolutely sad... waitress was not at fault... cold food after waiting 30 minutes. We sat by kitchen door and hear nothing but loud horse play in the kitchen. Waitress was even commenting on the horrible food.

Worst service and food ever waitress seemed very much consumed with something other than work (hope she ok) very forgetful and served me rotten spoiled tomatoes ( she had 3 tables of 2) the couple to my right where sitted 15 mins before me and we ordered before them ate and was ready to leave. Biscuits were not done still doughy in middle waitress was very sweet and helpful but you had to basically run her down for refills I will go back we love cracker barrel one bad day happens.

My wife and couldn’t eat at the restaurant tonight. So I ordered takeout from the restaurant. Everyone was so nice and professional. Judy,Michelle, and Stacey took care of me. Everything I ask was in the takeout and they helped me get my 20% discount being a Cracker Barrel member. Behindg a member has save me money and also given me 20-30 dollars off tickets before. Thank you guys for good service. 🙏❤️✌️🇺🇸💪

I've always loved the country style food at Cracker Barrel. I have eaten at many different locations between Alabama and Georgia, so my review is nowhere near a reflection of the food. Where they lose points for me is their service. My sister and I went last weekend for breakfast, and we had the rudest waitress ever. I still tipped her, but she didn't deserve it. I didn't even bother to report her to management since I don't like to cause a scene. But she was very inattentive, she slammed plates on the table, she left said plates sitting on the table, we rarely saw her, and she never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything else. Establishments should know that customer service is everything. People will always remembered good service pretty much the same way they remember when they're treated poorly. Please ask your waitresses to check their attitudes.

The store had maybe 10 customers in it. Nobody ever came and got our order for drinks or anything. We sat there 20 minutes, went around the corner and all of the employees were gathered at the cash register talking, including the manager worst service ever.

Was there Saturday ordered the steak baked potato and broccoli waiter comes back and says no baked potato. Very disappointed. Why have things on the menu you don’t have. Messed up my order. Gave me some mashed potatoes instead.
