Haven't been in the Birmingham area for any real amount of time. But will say in the time I have been here. Jim N Nick's is definitely in my top 3 places to eat. The Trussville location is the one I have frequented the most. And it's been amazing every time. I do have a question for Jim or Nick if they do happen to read this. What happens to the left over banana pudding? I mean it is amazing so could understand if there isn't a whole lot left over . But the little amount that is.? Well if ever an issue your not sure what to do with it. Let me know.. I know the perfect place.

I was so impressed with my recent customer service experience. I went through the drive thru today and ordered the 1 pound spare rib meal and to my surprise when I got home I had chicken fingers. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, John, and he offered to deliver the correct order to my home. This was so unexpected and greatly appreciated because after a long day at work I was dreading having to go back to the store for my correct order. Thank you so much Jim n Nicks, it's good to know superior customer service still exists!!!!

I showed up late on a Sunday, yet service was friendly and helpful. BBQ was superb + a perfectly mixed Old Fashioned! Casual sports bar atmosphere.
Brisket plate was just mediocre at best, kinda chewy and a bit dry, Small portion for 22$. the Mac and cheese was pretty good tho. Not interested in returning.
