My husband brought me here for my Birthday and we decided to come back. Their Wasabi Garlic Aioli is now my favorite dipping sauce and their Sexy Fries are now the standard for great fries.

This spot is Tuscaloosa’s hidden gem. I had the bartender surprise me with a drink and OMG she did not disappoint. The Oakwood Jungle is the truth. We just had some wings and sexy fries for an appetizer and I’m literally scooping the garlic up and shoveling it into my mouth. Wow ? I’m only visiting but I’ll definitely be back for this smokin joint!

The most INCREDIBLE food, atmosphere, and service. The staff were incredibly friendly and fast. The food was fresh and made with lots of care and love, and so were the drinks. Best Pina Colada i’ve ever had, hands down. Their tropic thunder shot was also one of my favorites. The steak salad and fresh pork rinds were to die for. Every time i’m in Tuscaloosa I will make sure to come and visit this place!! 10/10, i’ve already recommended this place to several friends.

Fantastic! The huli huli chicken sandwich was incredible. I'm not normally a fry guy but the fries were delicious and well seasoned. The spicy mayo (not sure the name they called it) was amazing as well though truthfully the fries were so good without it I ended up hardly touching it. Drinks as well were so different from the 'norm' in Tuscaloosa and absolutely fantastic.

TLDR something new and different in town that is well worth your time to try out.

Been back a few times since and the food menu has expanded and everything I’ve tried has been great. The steak sandwich, Huli hulu wings, sexy fries, are all very good. And the drinks are still great. Love the zombie and mai tai but the house drinks are very good too I really enjoy the anchor drops cocktail. Hope to see this place do really well and keep making such great drinks. Also the banana pudding is delicious

Really nice little tiki bar.
The zombie was good and strong and the food was quite good. The wings were crispy and had a good flavor. The Spam Lettuce Tomato sandwich was really nice combination of salty, savory, and fresh.

The place we were going was closed. Anchor Drops was open. We really expected finger foods. Wrong. Outstanding food. Really good. The rice bowls are the best.

Went with a group for dinner and drinks. The menu was on-theme (including a spam sandwich) and everyone's food was great. I got the huli huli chicken bowl. Wonderful. Bar staff were very accommodating and we had a great time!

Waited a long time for AD to open and it has not disappointed! Fantastic service, great drinks and the food is superb. I recommend the Teriyaki Steak sandwich, but can't wait for the new menu.
