Waited almost an hour for a takeout order for two brownie bites. The hostess was more interested in flirting with a guest that wasn’t dining in to be attentive to paying guest.Had to notify her twice pertaining my order.40 mins later and the desserts still weren’t ready according to her.Asked her to cancel the order and she instructed me to go to the bar.The barber tender was extremely attentive and notified the manger immediately. The manager went to check and a few minutes later a young lady came out with the desserts. The ice cream for the brownies came in the little sauce condiment takeout container.Wasted an hour of life.Should’ve went to Outback has an initially planned. The longer driver would have been worth the service and professionalism there.Avoid this Applebees if you have standards.

My last recent visit was not so goodMy stars reflect that visit only.. I had a waitress that was running through like a chicken With her head cut off and I definitely didn't have the same cook the ? was hard the steak was dry. The loaded potatoes was good. I don't recommend dinner service at Applebee's. I do however recommend Applebee's between 12 and about 4 pm . The food and service was good...

My friend treated me to lunch today. We haven't been to a Applebee's in a long time. The nearest location was inside of University Mall. It's on McFarland & Veterans Memorial Pkwy. The entrance is next to Belk's.You have to go completely inside the mall next door to GNC in order to get inside. Our server was Christian. She was very nice, smiling, and efficient. She took our order right after we were seated. We went for the 2 for $25 special. There were plenty of options to choose from. You get one full-size appetizer or two side salads and two entrees. We chose the house salad instead of caesar, which had lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, and shredded cheddar cheese. It was fresh and delicious. Our entrees came five minutes later. She ordered the White cheddar bacon & chicken skillet. It had sliced grilled chicken breast in a parmesan and white cheddar cream sauce. Topped with Applewood-smoked bacon, crispy onions. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. She had no complaints with that one. I ordered the Bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Cajun seasoned chicken and blackened shrimp in a butter, garlic, and parsley sauce. Served with sautéed onions and mushrooms, with garlic mashed potatoes. It was equally delicious. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The food was hot when it arrived. The meal was $30 since we didn't order anything to drink. We will definitely be coming back!

Food is typical Applebees menu. On several visits, almost everything was well prepared. Service is slow, typically because, like most places these days, they are short staffed. We still go back because we enjoy the food.

I waited at the hostess' stand for about 4 minutes and nobody came to seat me - so I left. There was no crowd, and the restaurant was not busy.

Tried the all you can eat and the featured drink. Only thing that was worth getting was the boneless wings and a glass of water. Service was great.
