Best wings in Tuscaloosa!
An hour before closing, shop only allowed take out orders. Met with rude resistance from the employee taking the order. Ribs were covered in an overly vinegary sauce rather than BBQ sauce; wasn't given a choice. Attempted to confirm there were utensils included, subsequently misinformed and had nothing for the side orders. Ate the meal out of the Walmart parking lot next door. Overall miserable experience.
Had all of these awards on their wall for "best ribs". Whomever gave those awards needs to be investigated

This is my kind of place, a small roadside joint. They always have the best food. We shared a two meat plate, and it was just right for us. A patron told us this was the best food around as we walked in the door. He wasn't lying.

Best BBQ in Tuscaloosa. Smoked wings are awesome. Soul food type sides. It's a small place but you feel like you are eating at a passionate BBQ pit.

I hope this was just a bad day for them, they used to be awesome. Otherwise the regular crowd they had never had good Bbq.
I had the ribs and pork. Both had a great flavor but the ribs were very tuff and pork wasn’t much better.
They rushed the cooking process and that makes the product tuff.
Low and Slow and DONE.

Use to be one if my favorite places when I lived in Tuscaloosa but now it's just sad. Rude staff, dirty, and food is worst than sub par.

Funky place that met this yankee’s pent-up need for catfish and greens. Yup, the cashier had just the right level of sass, but they understood our gluten-free needs, and gave us a good chuckle now and then.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free was easy.

Dirty, sticky tables & floor, very unfriendly staff, got both of our orders wrong, and the chicken was so dried out and hard we couldn’t even eat it. Threw it all in the trash. A total and complete waste of money, and we left still hungry. One of the very worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

Our order was mixed up, the chicken was tough and over cooked. The baked beans and coleslaw were good.
