DON’T BE FOOLED THIS IS A BUFFET ONLY!! The outside logo is deceiving: “Korean BBQ” but there is none. It’s simple meat in Korean BBQ sauce “Sushi” but no raw fish “Hibachi” but you aren’t allowed to watch them cook at the hibachi table, I was asked to return to my seat and wait to be called back over. Food was old. Tough meat. Soggy breading or stale beyond belief. All the food tasted as if it’s been sitting out for hours despite coming in at prime dining hours (6pm). $18 per plate with the risk of getting a further charge of “excessive food left on plate” when half the food is too hard or gross to eat. Overall left a literal and metaphorical bad taste in my mouth.

Best Asian buffet in town hands down. Best food and employees! Has a laid back atmosphere and lots of options for sushi, hibachi and typical buffet entrees/sides. They even have lots of Boba tea options as well.

Do not support this place It was my little niece birthday and they charged me for an adult for one of the kids which was 9 years old he made her stand next to a measuring tape which showed that she was 5 ft so because she was 5 ft he charged her for an adult price also I noticed I had to ask for my receipt he folded it and handed it to me ik something was wrong why fold it first I looked it was charged 2 adults 2 kids hurt her feelings she cried I ask for manager he said he was the only manager this was Saturday oct. 11, 2025 and the owner was on vacation I've never been treated so badly before I will include pictures of all three kids we went to another restaurant nami on skyland which was cheaper and I had not 1 issue there the kids look like kids why he did that I'm not sure as I was leaving he said you people lie all the time about your age to eat cheaper sad sad sad

So me and my fiancé went to eat dinner at Asia buffet in Tuscaloosa on oct 10th 2025 and we paid for 2 plates. I didn’t eat any at the buffet and i wanted mine to go. But my fiance did eat, he had two plates. He ate off of his plates and I don’t even like Asian food. I had two cups of ice cream. However the guy who runs the front counter said he brought up the surveillance cameras and seen me have MULTIPLE plates from the buffet and he said he gave me a chance to tell the truth but I was telling the truth the whole time. He accused me of lying and eating and stopped us when we got to the door to leave. He didn’t really check the surveillance cameras or else he would see I didn’t eat. I just wanted the too go plate for my fiancé to have some food for later. He paid for TWO plates. Left disappointed and mad that I was accused of lying when I don’t even like Asian food. ONE STAR. DO NOT RECOMMEND

When this place first opened it was awesome. Plenty of service. Food was hot. Frog legs was great. Sushi was plenishful. It was great. It has fell off. The sushi was about empty. They was not making none. It was a Thursday evening. Maybe why the hot bar some of the stuff has been out there too long. The mushroom kept cooking on the hot bar was not good and some stuff just needed to be thrown away and replenished they didn't do that

Came in from out of town and picked this place after about a week or so of research. Even locals say this place is great so I had to give it a shot. Guess what? It’s even better than I expected. Super sweet and kind staff not to mention an amazing hibachi chef. I can’t wait to come into town again just to get this again. Thank you Asia Buffet!
