Every time I have been to B Phil’s I get sick. They failed to meet their health inspection. I’ve heard this from the numerous of bama students. Don’t recommend to go.

If gratuity at 18% will be applied regardless of Party size that needs to be explained and showed up front. I never got an itemized receipt until I actually paid and then had already paid an additional tip. That's deceitful!!

You know that feeling when you pull your pants down and your lady lets out a little chuckle? That’s how we felt when we saw the chicken wings we ordered at this hole in the wall. SIZE DOES MATTER. I Visited this restaurant with a party of 8 for a graduation dinner. When we got there service was great and they made a big table for us quickly. We got drinks and orders places in a good time as well. When we received orders one was wrong but it was quickly fixed. 2 members ordered the bone in chicken wings. The wings were the smallest I have ever seen in my life. All 10 were smaller than a child’s pinky finger with even less meat. They load you up on “curly fries” that are actually just little crumbs of potatoes . Utter disappointment. The boneless wings were decent sized but tastes more like tofu than chicken. I have no idea who this places chicken supplier is but these were chick wings, not full grown chickens. For a place called “Buffalo Phil’s” the wings were trash.

This place is a joke. Looks cool from outside. We stood in line outside after the iron bowl game for 45 mins. Got inside, stood with no one to help us for 20 more mins. We walked up and asked the waitress what to do because no one was waiting on us and hadn't even spoken to us. We were told to go find a table. The back room was empty. So as we went to sit down the security lady, an older blonde lady, decided to now come see us. Told us she "didn't know us, we weren't going to sit there and we needed to go back to the back of the line outside". The security guy at the door knew us and was very polite and tried to talk with this older woman about it. She was determined we were going to the back of the line outside. Do not waste your time or money here. Very rude, unprofessional and just plain out waste of an hour and a half. We walked out with out being served. Will never go back to this place, unless I want to be treated like I committed a crime for asking for help and doing what we were told to do. The security gentleman working the door gets 5 stars. This older blonde woman if I could give less then zero I would. She doesn't need to be in hospitality work in any form.

ROLL TIDE.

Phil's is such a gem in Tuscaloosa. If you are near campus, definitely a great spot to eat

Ordered 40 wings for our group. These may have been the smallest wings I’ve ever had! The food wasn’t hot, but it was after a football game and the crowds were large. Service and atmosphere was good.

First time in Tuscaloosa for Bama football vs. Georgia. There was a wait but not bad considering how many people were there for the game. Service was great, drink service came quick and often. We had wings and pickle fries. Wings were so good we order another batch! Great sauce! Clean bathrooms!

This restaurant has become such a disappointment. Everytime I try to order there is some reason they are not taking orders. Tonight I just called and they said they were closing early. On Halloween they just weren’t taking anymore orders at 6pm. I have a family of 7 so this is a quick meal for us but the truth is the wings have started to taste bland nothing like before. I spend a minimum of 100$ whenever I visit the store which is usually multiple times a month and besides Catfish Heaven this was the only place I would eat wings but this was my last draw.

Disappointed with the Chicken Wings Beware when ordering the chicken wings here. They were ridiculously small—smaller than our pinky finger! We even took pictures to prove it. When I asked the waitress about it, she mentioned that they get this question all the time and claimed the wings are "without steroids." I’ve had plenty of steroid-free wings before, and they were at least double the size of these. If this is such a common complaint, you’d think the staff would warn customers about the size before ordering. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the wings here and definitely won’t be ordering them again.

I’m highly disappointed. My boyfriend and I walked in at 8pm and was immediately told that we couldn’t be serviced because they were “dead”. Online it says that you all close at 9pm. This is wrong. You need to adjust your hours accordingly.

Phil's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. They are known for their small wings, but lately the wings have been ridiculously small, to the point of barely having any meat on them. In addition to this, they are now sneaking a "convenience charge" onto the bill without letting you know that they're doing so. When I asked the waitress what this charge was, she initially stated that it was an "extra tax." Then, after she asked the manager about it, we were told the extra charge was so they could keep their prices low on the menu. I'm not sure what's "convenient" about being deceptive about the cost of their menu items. I was also told that I could order a children's meal but there would be a $1.00 upcharge for being over 12 years old. The charge on the bill was actually $2.00, not $1.00. I don't have a problem with the $2.00 charge, but it's unacceptable to be told one price and then to double that price on the bill without telling the customer. Phil's needs to do better.
