This is the place to go for the best Southern fried catfish in the state. Sourced from Alabama farm raised catfish it is fresh and tasty. This place does two things. The other is wings. While I am a huge fan of their catfish, this last trip, I tried their wings after someone gave me a description of their Jalapeno Ranch wings. They were served with a creamy sauce, and a nice helping of Jalapeno slices. I was originally hoping for something with a little zing, but the milder flavors of the cooked Jalapenos made a flavorful blend that surprised me. It was incredibly good without being hot. In fact, I didn't miss the heat at all.
There are a variety of portion sizes sure to please your particular hunger craving at that time.
A place like this doesn't need a huge variety of offerings. What they sell is great tasting enough to keep them busy all day.
If you are visiting the South, this is the place to visit to try classic Southern fried catfish.

Simple menu and a line out the door because people love it. Definitely a local favorite. Carry out focused with a few seats inside, but donāt plan on them being available for you to use. Fries are a little soggy and they put way too much ice in their cups. If you have trouble getting your straw in - maybe cut back?!

Come hungry!!! Food is delicious, had the catfish plate, teriyaki wings,lemon pepper wings, caramel cake, strawberry cake, red velvet cake oh yeah dont forget the hush puppies or the damn kool-aid. All of it is delicious , I couldn't believe it. 1st time going and ill be back monthly for it.

We visited Catfish Heaven on 9/20. My son attends UA . Visiting him yesterday he mentioned to us that this establishment has the best catfish he has tasted. So we went! Sweet baby Jesus! The food was so good! The customer service was outstanding! The sweet tea , I just closed my eyes and sipped! My husband ordered a slice of strawberry cake, otw back to Dothan, I opened it to ātasteā needless to say my husband told me, I should have ordered my own. We were too far to turn around lol. Itās small inside but the wait is not long and the food was hot and fresh! I canāt wait to go back to visit my son because this will be our first stop!

If you are in Tucaloosa Alabama then please STOP š here. Because if you pass this God sent place then you did yourself a huge injustice. Everything here is excellent. It's a very friendly environment and the staff is great with no long wait times. One bite of the catfish sent me back to my roots. It's seriously like that.
So far I havenāt had a bad experience here at my many times of eating over the past few weeks. Catfish is great(fried hard), the wings were awesome, the fries are your typical fries you get in Tuscaloosa and the hush puppies were tasty when fresh!

We ordered through Door Dash while visiting for the A game. We havenāt stopped talking about this meal and the Red Punch!! We are coming back in October for the Alabama vs Vandy game and this will be dinner and hoping to get a gallon of the Red Punch. So good and recommend.
