The original Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa was a great experience. The building is not large. However, the day we visited, there were plenty of seats. I would assume that during football season, there could be a wait for a table. The ribs were awesome, and the sauce had a slight kick that was perfect. The loaf bread and extra sauce were the perfect accompaniment. I got the half rack of ribs, and it was a lot of food. The banana pudding was also great.
Went for the ribs that they're known for. Ribs were tender and plenty for half rack. Sauce was good. Service was disappointing. Once food came we had to ask another waitress for service a couple of times. Price was about the same as other bbq joints. Atmosphere had character.
