Great to have some German cuisine in Tuscaloosa, I enjoyed my tea and my cafe, the food was fresh and the staff was friendly.
Great Customer Service & Tasty Treats
Awesome coffee plus German pastries. Hard to go wrong here. Lovely spot for breakfast.
We ordered everything apple, a fruit tart and a piece for cheesecake. Everything was well made and delicious. Prices were very reasonable.
Pretty authentic German Café, good service. Nice selection of German cakes and sausage sandwiches for lunch. Large selection of coffees.
Neat place! Nice place to hang out and have a cup of java!!
I love going to Edelweiss - such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The coffee is outstanding, the food is amazing!
Good coffee, delicious German pastries, and a quiet atmosphere. Great place to study, read, or have a date!
Went to Edelweiss specially to get a German breakfast . This is exactly what we got . I loved the authentic German bakery items . There was not enough time to try one of each. We talked to Ester and she is super friendly and made me feel like a regular. This is now my to go to breakfast cafe while staying in the area.
This place is great. Quiet place to have a chat with someone. Food is unlike any other in town. Good service. Went on a Sunday around 1. Patrons on laptops apparently studying for school. Just minding their own business. Coffee was great. Try it out.

The sandwich and potato soup I got was really good and the fruit tartlette was amazing. The prices on the pastry goods are very cheap compared to other coffee houses I've been to. Overall it was a good quick lunch. The German lady making Christmas treats took a moment to speak to us when we asked what she was making. I'll be going back.
Love it here. bratwurst and crunchy roll is so yummy and the woman who runs this place is so sweet. I have not found a better cafe in town.
Locally owned, authentic German food with great coffee to boot. What's not to love? Get here early to avoid the crowd - it gets busy on Sundays, especially after game days.
The Adonis pretzel breakfast sandwich is really something special. The crust on the outside is what makes it. The salt on top was an added bonus. The caramel latte lacked foam and was a bit too sweet. Great experience overall.
Had some coffee. The server was delightful and there were plenty of seats. This store sells authentic German pastries!
