I come here often & every time my boyfriend & I sit down to eat we tip very well. Today we didn’t have time to sit down so we did a to-go order & the lady at the door got mad because I didn’t tip & was rude ! I understand if somebody doesn’t tip for service but no service was provided . We still love the food though ..

On October 11th, 2025 at approximately 9 PM I purchased a katsu curry donut rice bowl and a green tea cheesecake. The katsu curry don rice bowl and the green tea cheesecake were equally delicious, however, the green tea cheesecake was super small to be priced at $4.00. On October 12th, 2025 at approximately 3:40 PM, I visited the store to share with an Asian female employee about how small/skinny the green tea cheesecake slice was that they gave me in my order and she informed that the size of the cheesecake was their normal size. I asked her if I could see any other green tea cheesecake slices to compare their size with the size that I received and she told me no. Once I realized that she really did not care about me voicing my complaint, I then left just to avoid having a confrontation with the Asian lady. In the future, I will return for the food, but I most definitely will NOT buy any more desserts from this restaurant because their desserts are overpriced for the portion sizes that they give you.

Didn't realize this was a chain restaurant. I got the spicy miso ramen and it was perfect, good depth of flavor in the broth, the folded bag buns were perfect, and the pork chashu was perfectly cooked. I use you guys as a baseline when I make my own ramen at home. I just need to work on my tare a bit more I think. Love you guys!

My son and I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. He is an expert on Japanese cuisine and for him to be impressed spoke volumes about the ingredients as well as the flavor. I'm very glad that he will have access to this restaurant as a student so when needs his ramen fixed, he's not only close by, but also it's very affordable!
You will definitely get your fill? The bowls are huge and filled with very flavorable broth and genuine ingredients! The Green Tea was delicious and we loved the presentation of each part of the meal!

Definitely has earned its top rating in this area for all the right reasons!

Always a relaxed atmosphere and good food. I've ordered the vegetarian ramen multiple times and enjoyed it every time. Also, the seafood ramen bowl is excellent!

The restaurant, food, and the service was awesome and very excellent. I decided to give this awesome restaurant all five stars. The food was so excellent and very delicious. The service was very excellent perfect and the waitress was very nice and understandable and she did a really an awesome job and I think she deserves a bonus for why she's doing and me and my family decided to tip her a $20 for her hard working and she really did an excellent job. Plus the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very excellent and I love it how all the art on the walls was very beautiful and I loved it so much, not to mention it feels like I traveled to Tokyo, Japan to try out all the Japanese foods and the best of all the ramen most excellent and perfect just the way I like it. These are the pictures that I took and see how the food is amazingly delicious. I think, maybe I'll come back here and try something else to taste and enjoy it. And the awesome and excellent part about this restaurant that it made my 31st birthday awesome and perfect too.

Love this place! It’s cozy inside and the food is incredible. Everything tastes really fresh. I always get ginger salads for Japanese restaurants and this one is the most flavorful one I’ve ever had. The ramen is amazing. Highly recommend

While visiting Tuscaloosa we saw this place on Tik Tok and had to try it.
The server was so sweet! She was a faithful customer before working there and praised the food and offered excellent recommendations.
We tried the Pork Gyoza-yum. We also orders steamed pork buns, which were like Filipino Siopao, and they were fantastic. We tried the spicy miso and chicken ramen for the main entrees. They were both tasty, but beware — the spicy miso is quite hot.
I would highly recommend this place. It was the best food we have tried all week here in Tuscaloosa.

One of mine and my fiancee's favorite places to grab lunch if we're in the area, we almost never pass it up.

The chicken ramen is my go-to and my fiancee normally gets the pork tonkotsu. The broth in the chicken ramen is delicious and the portion sizes for both dishes always leaves us with enough ramen to have a second serving at home. Very fair for the price.

Always have great service and the staff is very accommodating if you're waiting for the rest of your party. Servers are very attentive and I've never had to personally ask for a refill on my drink and not gonna lie I drink like 20 Cokes when I go anywhere so that's impressive lol.

For appetizers we always go for the crab puffs, perfect if you're only dining as a couple as you can split them since they give you six of them and they are absolutely delicious. Probably the best crab puffs in Tuscaloosa and the presentation is very pretty.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice as well, after a belly full of ramen it feels relaxing to just sit inside there for a moment and chill. We always enjoy our visits here!
