I had never heard of Full Moon until my sister asked me to stop by and grab her a bake potato on my way home. The size of that bake potato was unreal. From then on I have stopped in whenever I get the chance.
This particular time I was in Tuscaloosa visiting my son. He had never been here before so it was definitely a treat for him.
No matter what city you are in, the food is always great. The servers are always friendly. The wait time is never long which always amazes me.
No matter what you order you can't go wrong with your choice.

Maybe I caught them on an off night or because they were trying to close. I'd ordered Chopped pork, fried green tomatoes and fries. The fries and pork were cold. The pork needed more flavor or sauce or both.

The tomatoes were hot so good on them for that but I think they probably had to make those to order. The meat and fries had probably been sitting on a warmer that was off but maybe still warmish? I ate it because I was hungry and wanted to go to bed but I probably won't be back. They were nice to us and the beer was good so 🤷🏿‍♂️

This place isn’t what it used to be ran down by you know who anyways I pull up to the drive thru and no one is even there I see yall are open then I come back that afternoon and I’m met with this extremely rude woman never going back I prefer the Birmingham location

Our visit to the Tuscaloosa Full Moon BBQ tonight was an absolute 10 out of 10 experience!
While the food tasted incredible, the real highlight of the evening was the atmosphere created by the amazing team working there. I cannot emphasize enough just how friendly, respectful, and inviting every single staff member was. It’s rare to find such genuine warmth in a restaurant, and it made our dinner truly special.
Everything we ate was delicious, but I have two suggestions that absolutely need to be added to the permanent menu (seriously, I would pay whatever price you wanted to charge for these!):
Add a Pork Burger: Make it an official menu item to top the burger with pulled pork.
Loaded Chow-Chow Fries: Please add an order of fries topped with pork and chow-chow sauce to the menu.
Those combinations are unbeatable. If you are looking for fantastic food in a warm, welcoming environment, you have to come here. We will definitely be back

Maybe yall shouldn’t be open on Christmas Eve if all the workers are super mad about being there. Ordered $76 worth of food on a call in. I went through the drive thru because I have a toddler and a baby and couldn’t carry the baby + all the food I got. 3 women on a smoke break all at the same time. Line wasn’t moving. Finally got to the speaker and the rude woman said they’re only serving pork sandwiches and to come in and get my call in. I explained my situation and she cut me off. Got to the window and that lady was RUDE too. Everybody in there trying to hurry up and get home (understandable, but CLOSE THE STORE IF YOU HAVE NO ONE WANTING TO WORK) I WILL NOT COME BACK AGAIN. This was absolutely the worst food I've ever gotten from full moon the ribs weren't tender and almost tasted a little bit luke lighter fluid or something the sides were definitely off as well I have eaten from the Tuscaloosa location twice before I will not waste my time or money again I'll stick to the location im never disappointed at Fultondale

Worst customer service I've seen in a long time. The food was good but the cashier had a disgruntled look the entire time, would not answer questions at all and acted like we were wasting her time. Then we asked for a water for our daughter, she said you have to pay for it ( nothing had been paid for at this point so we were like okay thats fine.) She then made a comment to my mother that we were rude for asking for water. The manager was standing next to her witnessing the entire thing.

Came through the drive thru. I said, “hello”… someone mumbled “hold on”… so I hold and I say Hello again. She says, “ I done told you to order I am waiting on you”. I have to repeat my order 3 times and she says “PULL AROUND!!! i get to the window and proceed to ssk her a question and she shuts the window in my face. This is not a food problem this is a service problem.

Food was good. The fountain drink area was really filthy. Soda that was dispensing tasted really bad. There was no sweet tea in the dispensers. Some tables were not wiped clean, floors were dirty. Wish they could keep the area clean.
