Management has ruined a wonderful piece of history and tradition. Not worth going here anymore. On top of that they literally couldn't care less about their bartenders so do business elsewhere. It'll be worth it.

Oh my. Oh my! Yellow hammers is all that I can say! Great place to go on gane day but get there EARLY to get a seat otherwise it is standing room only.

This place used to be a tradition. The management here has destroyed my love to come here. Expecting people to pay a $50 + cover fee to also pay $15 for a drink is absolutely insane. I have enough cups now. I’ll make my own.

Poor experience and the worst service I’ve ever received at a bar. Bought a pass online and they refused to let me into the bar because the “fast pass” line gained priority. The bouncer was very rude to myself and everyone in my group. Not to mention he was probably under age. As an alumni I’m very upset how poorly I was treated.

$50 cover just to get in, which is why it was basically empty. I can tolerate some price gouging, but that’s just

If you're an alumni and enjoy being treated poorly this is the place for you. Even better you can buy a pass online and they still won't let you in ($40 btw). On top of that everyone will claim to be the manager even the bouncer who has no education and isn't of age. Galettes will steal your money. You cannot trust this business. Whoever owns this place needs to take charge and quit allowing college students to run the place.

Drinks: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I highly recommend this place is you're visiting campus from out of town! We came to Tuscaloosa for the Ole Miss game and heard a ton about the Yellow Hammer. We decided to swing on in to check it out and we were not let down! $20 cover that let us in and out all day which was to be expected for a pretty hyped up game. The yellow hammer was delicious and not too expensive. The service was very quick and friendly despite how packed the bar become during the day. There was plenty of room to move around and a decent amount of seating. Plenty of TVs to watch was happening with other games and they had College Game Day playing on the big screen. Everyone there was extremely friendly despite our group being decked out head to toe in Ole Miss gear. Our overall experience here was great and we will definitely be back next time we visit Tuscaloosa.

Why would anyone pay a $60 cover? We have been to Gallettes many times over the years, not any more. Maybe that is why there wasn't anyone there last Saturday. Way to read the room, guys. You've got this one all wrong.
