Awesome Experience, I come to this location all the time and they make sure to get me exactly what I want and need. Amer, has great customer service and was attentive to his customers and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
can you get the same things elsewhere or cheaper or fancier, yes, should you, maybe, do I care, no. Hooligans holds up the vault of heaven over Tuscaloosa, if you disagree we will never understand each other

Nice place. The wife said the hamburger/fries were great. The kabob was good. Limited seating due to some A/C issues in the middle of the restaurant at the time of my 1st visit. I’m sure they will get that corrected soon. Looked like a well ran restaurant.

Picked up takeout. Gyro plate is just overcooked gyro meat and some sub-par stale and tasteless pita bread. Plus salad and rice. Even the baklava was bad. Such a disappointment.

Used to love Hooligans… fast service, decent food, cozy atmosphere. Not anymore.
DO NOT GO DURING YOUR LUNCH BREAK. Your food will take 20+ minutes to arrive after you order, and this is just for the basics (cheeseburgers, gyros, etc.). Has happened three times in a row.
Not to mention that the food is all pre-made, reheated out of the freezer, and poorly prepared. Gyros missing ingredients, fries that are limp and soaked with grease, just not good food.
Very disappointed to lose this spot in Tuscaloosa. Hopefully they can improve.

Would give 5 stars but the lady preparing food has her hair down and not behind her shoulders. Not a good look.And the other lady is eating off of the line WITH HER GLOVES ON. She took something out of a pan on the line and stuck it into her mouth while wearing her gloves and then did not change her gloves as she touched other people’s food.

I always get the gyro plate and sub the salad out for tabouli. I find this so good that I am unaware of any other menu items.

The food was really good and the staff was really nice and helpful. The restaurant has this deli type of vibe. If it didn't smell like Greek food you wouldn't know what you were getting. But I like that it doesn't perpetrate this strictly traditional thing that it's not.
