I had never eaten here because I didn't know it was there. We got take-out, and I got my usual General Tso's chicken. I know every place/cook has their own way of cooking, but usually they are somewhat similar. This one tasted great the first few bites, but then things started heating up. I started sweating. Wow! Very sweet family! Best Chinese food around. Best prices and you definitely get your money’s worth! Never had a bad experience here. Food is always fresh and when I come from South Carolina it’s the first place we grab food from. Excellent customer service!
Hot Wok is not the best or worst Chinese restaurant in Tuscaloosa but it is one of the few that you can get a hot plate of good quality teriyaki chicken, a crisp egg roll and ok fried yellow rice for cheep and be in and out with your food in under 10 minute. The food quality is on par with the average food court at a mall. There are four or five 4 seat low top tables to eat at. The decorating looks like it was an afterthought but again if you want a cheep fast Chinese lunch this...
