I really really like this place. The sushi is super fresh and the poke bowls are awesome! I do wish the food came out a little quicker; it was a pretty long wait both times we were here. That being said, I have ZERO experience making sushi, so it might be a perfectly acceptable amount of time and I just don't know it. Wait or no wait, we will eat there again. Also, random, a little robot brings you your food and that cracks me up every time.
We have been coming to this place for a while since our daughter started school in UA. We love the food, the service and the ambience. The place is kept nice, clean and tidy. The food is always delicious and come in a good & generous portion. We love the sushi, the bento box and pretty much all everything on the menu. You need to try the yum yum sauce ! The robot server Lucky is a gem!! Always puts a big smile on our face when we see Lucky!
i’ve been ordering from ichiban since i moved to tuscaloosa and have ordered quite a few things, and every thing has been great!! the fancher roll is one of my favorites and the poke bowls are always delicious. spicy crab salad is also a highlight. the only thing that i have to say is i really dislike the yum yum sauce they use, it just doesn’t taste right to me but to me the hibachi doesn’t even really need it because they season it very well!! the service is always top...
