coffee is usually fine depending on who makes it, but why is my coffee level so low. i understand the whole measuring thing but this coffee is filled only halfway up (i haven’t drank out of it it’s brand new)

Never been there before today. Just got home and I have to say, that was the best mocha that I have ever had. The service was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was pleasant, the smell was amazing. It was a bit hard to find initially because I came from the wrong direction. Now that I know where it is, I will be a regular.

The only problem with Java City is their workers aren't paid enough. Try the smoothies.

Good spot for coffee on campus. Great drip coffee (even seasonal Single-Origin roasts) and decent lattes. Short wait times, and is always open late.

Their coffee was stale and horrific. Unenthusiastic workers. Don't get the coffee here. I am personally offended by how bad it was.

Probably the worst experience i've ever had at a coffee shop. The guy with glasses, who i've seen for years and is usually nice, was openly rude. It was early and there was a line, so when I got up to the front and he said hi how are you today I simply smiled, said hello, and gave my order. Well he pitched a fit after that, swiping my card so fast he probably bent it, and to top it off didn't even fully listen to my order. I ordered a regular iced mocha, but he made me a white mocha, partially i'm sure due to him not listening, and I guess just assuming bc that's what every other girl got. Anyways, I digress. Right after he swiped my card like he was mad at it, he proceeded to talk to his coworker with the blue hair loudly, and in detail, about how he asked how I was doing and my response, yay because I love being called out for supposedly being a certain way when i'm just trying to get coffee. When he put, i'm sorry, slammed, the wrong drink down on the counter, he said "Here's your drink." I proceeded to tell him it was the wrong one, and instead of taking responsibility for not listening to me, he automatically said, "someone must have took yours then." Umm I had an eye on that counter considering i'm a coffee fiend and desperately needed it that morning, so no, no one "took my drink." The whole situation was unnecessary, un called for, embarrassing, and extremely unprofessional, especially considering the fact that i'm pretty sure he's a manager now. Makes me want to go to back to Starbucks, and it sucks because the coffee is good and this guy usually acts like a decent person.

If you have a group project in any class, this is where you will meet. I promise you. It never fails and for good reason: space.
