Food has been great except for my last order. ordered online 45 minutes before arrival. They accidentally gave my order to someone else. I worked in restaurants, so it happens, no problem. So they made my food what I thought was fresh. It made me sick. Glad I only ate half.

Not my favorite Mexican restaurant in Tuscaloosa. I don't think I've ever had good service here. Once seated, you make awkward eye contact with your server for up to 10 minutes before they finally take your drink order. The food is average. Impossible to get a to go box. Ended up having to ask the hostess, which seemed to be the only person that cared about our experience. This place is nothing special and I won't be back. I would recommend driving up to Vera Cruz on 15th St. if you want good Mexican food.

I have tried this place 3 different times and each time the meat is not seasoned at all. I always get a steak quesadilla and the steak is hard as a rock and just so very bland! Same with the beef tacos. There’s zero seasoning!!
I will say the salsa is good but as far as the food, it’s like eating from a bland diet at a nursing home. Season your meat!

Ordered sopapilla and “fried Ice cream”. Pathetic and lazy! The ice cream was just rolled in cornflakes and plopped in a stale tortilla bowl. Disappointed is an understatement.

We did not eat supper there just dessert so I can’t speak for anything else. Service was mid/fine

Literally waited 20 minutes for a drink. asked for a menu the server walked off another server asked me if I was ready to order.. still no menu. 0/10 for me.i assume because I sat at the bar and didn’t purchase alcohol I wasn’t a priority 🤷🏾‍♀️

The Roy Special is absolutely incredible! Chicken, beef, shrimp, onions, peppers, wonderfully seasoned rice, and covered in queso. Probably the best lunch deal in town!
Service is great. The store is well managed and clean.
