As a person with a disability I have a service dog, whom I’ve had since October 2023. This is my first trip to Alabama to present at a conference and yesterday, as I was staying in the Capstone, I went to this restaurant. My service dog was acting appropriately and laying on the floor out of the way. We were literally the only people. And the waitress and the manager refused to serve us. They asked for paperwork about my service dog which 1) Isn’t and thing and doesn’t exist and 2) Is illegal and then refused to serve me due to their “policy.” When I requested to see their alleged policy, they refused to provide it.If you have a disability - do not eat at this establishment.Update: A person who works at the restaurant saw me outside the establishment crying, and asked me what happened. When I explained, he spoke with the people inside. And we were allowed in.The bar tender served me, and he was WONDERFUL. The two women who refused to serve me never even came over to apologize. The photo that’s attached is of Zoë while I finally ate my dinner.

This was a revelation. The prices are reasonable. The service was perfect. The food is excellent. The portions are huge! This must be the best kept secret in Tuscaloosa. Hidden away in the Capstone Hotel, if everyone in Tuscaloosa tried this place once, there would be a waiting line forever after.I can't wait to go back!

Service is awful, waited forever for a drink eventhough it wasn't crowded, closed early, seems like it's not serious about being a bar regardless of the promotions...

The new dining room is lovely. The soup, salad and potato bar provides a quicker option than ordering from the menu and has a decent variety. I do think before the remodel the salad bar had a few more options, but there is definitely enough there to keep most people happy. This is a great option for a meal on campus. The service on getting your check can be a little slow if you have a large party.Parking: If you are eating at capstone hotel, you can park for free.

I am staying at the hotel for a business trip and on my first night i decided to try out the bistro connected to the hotel. I'm not sure how i feel about this place, hence the three stars. The service was fine, the young lady serving me was very nice and pleasant but also gave off a vibe that it was her first day. The restaurant itself gave more of a cafeteria feel with tables placed in a room with very minimal decor. The food wasn't bad. I ordered the pot roast and it came with green beans and mashed potatoes. The pot roast was pretty tasty; however to my surprise they put pickles in it? Never in my life have i heard of pickles being in a pot roast and it was almost infuriating. The mash potatoes was pretty good and the green beans were inedible, lacked flavor and poorly prepared. Honestly if you're just trying to grab a bit with little fuss this is a great place to come but outside of that i wouldn't come here again.

We've been several times as work brings us to town & to The Hotel Capstone multiple times a year. The food is always fantastic and the service has been great! The Okra is a must!!!

I called Friday to reserve a room when I got to the hotel a hour later I swiped my card to pay for the room .Well me and my boyfriend decided we was going to stay another day so he payed for another night with his card . Saying that when we checked out we noticed they changed us both double on our cards .Not to mention I had to let the front desk know I received a scam call on my room phone 10 minutes after I walked in .Someone say they was calling from Medicare.I was not pleased at all no one should have to go threw that .There was no reason for that to happen when two cards are used .I could see a mistake of double charge on one card but not both cards .I had a king size bed room also realized there is no microwave.I have never stayed anywhere where they didn't havea microwave. I also ordered food from down stairs the Cajun fish was horrible but the fried shrimp was good even tho I had to eat it with ketchup because they got my cocktail sauce .If I could give it a zero star I would.I try not to leave reviews at all but this I had to do .

Food was ok but a bit pricey. $29 for a simple breakfast buffet, eggs, bacon, biscuits and fruit. We couldn't order off the menu. The saving grace was Brittany our server. There was not much of a choice for dinner and what was there was pricey as well.

We were at Legends three times during our brief stay in town. Breakfast and lunch were good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stopped in about 9 pm for a light meal after a ball game. I ordered Fish and Chips which were really good, although for the price, 3 pieces of fish would have been better than just 2. Steer clear of the chicken strips—very much like a thin piece of cardboard with batter on each side. Hopefully, Legends will get better chicken to serve.
