My wife and I ordered food online this past Saturday for lunch. Paid got a confirmation number arrived to pick food up and they were closed. Not closed because I arrived after hours but closed at 2pm well before posted closing hours. A hand written note on door stating they would close early the week prior which even if it had been current it's not like I can see that online. So i tried to call today and the phone is no longer in service. So need I say more I think it would be a waste of time at this point since they don't even have a working number not like they will check Google reviews.

Stay clear of the cornbread. Not sure why, but it's been dry and a little overcooked both times I've been there. They don't believe in butter on cornbread or biscuits. Everything else seemed okay. A little pricey for what you get, but that might be everything these days.

Clean orderly, friendly staff, good country food cooked like Mama cooked. Been there before, will go again.

We enjoyed our dinner at Lucy's they had improved their meals. I'm glad they moved closer to us on University Blvd ? ? we had peaceful evening there. Hilma Johnson and Bradley Marsh

Kids are running the restaurant! Food was ok they had no butter or cocktail sauce. Will not be going back we were the only 3 people in the restaurant. Would not recommend!!!!

First time and probably the last. No butter or honey for the cornbread so couldn't eat it because it was so dry. I ordered hamburger steak no gravy just onions and I got 2 little pieces of onion. No steak sauce either. The loaded potato casserole tasted like it had been in the warmer for days. The lima beans were good. The hamburger steak was some sort of patty pre-made out of a box. For the price I could have gone to Texas Roadhouse and had real steak cheaper.

Walked in just before 5:00 today. Door stated hours were from 10:30-6:00. No cars in parking lot, 1 customer inside. No workers visible. Stood at the counter for 3 minutes, saw one person in the back. Never acknowledged us. We walked out. Service is worse than terrible ... it's non-existent. Good luck. Won't be back.

The service and the atmosphere was good. However, I was very disappointed in the food. The food was bland. I ordered the catfish plate, the catfish had no seasoning on it & the hush puppies were doughy (undone) on the inside.

It was our 1st time ever it was on a Sunday the one in alberta we were the only(?❤?✊) didn't feel so welcoming..so we just left..even tho?❤? ✊ was in the kitchen working..

Greens are the worst I have ever tasted. They forgot something both times I have been. Tonight it was the baked potato casserole. I am glad though because my husband got it and it tasted like it was made from 4 day old baked potatoes. Who serves beef tips without rice and hush puppies with no onions in them? You can't order certain items together because the order takers can't find them on the screen. Maybe I will try them again in the future when/if they get it together.

You guys really hit the spot my first time eating there. I went through the drive-thru for the first time and was blown away. Any time I NEED soul food now? YALL ARE IT!(sorry mama)

Fabulous experience at Lucy's! The Food was phenomenal for good country cookin'!! Fresh, hot and delicious ?. The owner was very nice and friendly. The two guys in the back that came out were very friendly as well. Nice cozy atmosphere. Much needed South of town. I just hate I can't go back due to moving out of state.
