Worst experience! Waited forever with only one other person in the restaurant. Beignets not done! Will not be back!

They are very under staffed. We waited a long time for 8 beignets. It's a very long wait. So the ambiance is people waiting for their food. A 10 min stop turned into a 20 min. Overall, the beignets were absolutely amazing just be prepared to WAIT! AND PAY!!

Not worth the money. Their frozen Café au lait is just coffee with smaller chunks of ice cubes - it's not a "frozen" drink at all. There are much better coffee places within walking distance of here.

LOVE Mo'Bay - it's such a fun place that reminds me of my Louisiana home. It offers wonderful, fluffy, powder-sugary beignets and great coffee! You can grab a quick coffee while out running errands or sit outside on nice days and enjoy the whole Tuscaloosa downtown vibe. Highly recommend! #allthingstuscaloosa

My coworkers and I thoroughly enjoy calling and placing our big order for pick up. We are always satisfied and pleased with how fresh and delicious every bite is. It’s soo good, the price point is not that big of a deal (the quality and service are greater than)The staff is very patient and helpful when I call in my order. I will be bringing my kids here soon to experience how amazing the beignets are!

I found this place on google and visited it with a friend! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and had a very cute atmosphere. Definitely a great place to catch up over coffee and beignets with a friend. We both ordered 3 beignets and I had the Mo'Bay Mocha iced. The beignets were fresh and delicious! The coffee was very sweet, but it was also really good if you like sugary drinks! Overall my experience was great and I will be back!

To me from mobile,al and see this made super excited while traveling. The staff were very nice and the building was well kept up. My beignets were just a tad bit overcooked but still delicious nevertheless. Highly recommend everyone give them a chance and great place for kids to get a sweet treat.

The lady who took our order acted like she didn't want to be there. The wait was long, and all we ordered was two coffees. Then one of them was the wrong size. The beverages themselves were fine, but the service was not great.

It was our first visit there but not the last! The staff on Sunday, November 6th were charming, helpful and made us remember what customer service was like a lifetime ago - magnificent! The coffee was hot and fresh, my wife’s frozen coffee espresso thingie - well, she flipped over that. And the beignets were mouthwatering (and they didn’t skimp on the powdered sugar!). It’s quaint, charming and even have pet treats outside on their patio. By the way - I’m 70 and she’s 61 and we were as happy as teenagers. Highly recommend!

I’ve now been twice and enjoyed my visit each time. My son and I went yesterday afternoon to celebrate a successful dentist visit for him. I’m really glad to be able to get great beignets in Tuscaloosa! The beignets are amazing. Hot and fluffy in powdered sugar. Great with and without a dipping sauce. Over the summer I had a great raspberry sauce and yesterday I had an apple pie sauce. We also got a hot cocoa and a hot apple cider yesterday. Cider was good but the hot cocoa was great!Word of advice: don’t wear dark clothes to eat beignets. My only issue would be to have napkins more readily available. Napkin caddies on the tables would be nice. Also, plastic utensils to make sharing the sauces and to scoop powdered sugar onto the beignets. Minor complaints and definitely not a deal breaker.

Just cost too much for what it is. The beignets were delicious. There is a lot of powdered sugar, like way more than you could possibly want. The biggest problem we had was that it didn't look open so we called, nobody answered, checked the door and they were open. Told them about it, yeah we get that. There is a very small sign that says open on the 23rd side. The lights inside are very dim so if they should be open I guess try them? Probably not an issue during the day. Anyway they were just as good as when we got them in Mobile, and just as expensive. One reason Café Du Mond is so good is that it is cheap, simple and fast. There was a significant wait just due us being the only customers and there was only one employee. Give it a try!Kid-friendliness: No problem with bringing kids in.Parking: On any night when the students are in town it will be rough finding parking.

It was okay. I came for a New Orleans donut. The wait after I ordered was too long. There was far too much religion in the 'about us' stories. I felt like I was at conversion camp for the 17 minutes I was waiting on a couple beignets. Didn't taste fresh and the pile of powdered sugar at the bottom of the bag didn't really stick to (therefore didn't sweeten) the fried dough. I don't plan on going back. Was not impressed by the service or product.

What a cute place with great beignets. The staff was so sweet and the overall experience was great! I'd highly recommend stopping in for a beignet or two... or three. :-)

Great beignets. Went right before closing and they gave us a couple extra minis. Recommend the buttercream dip.
