Had an overall good experience at this O’Charley’s in Tuscaloosa. Addie did a fine job serving us from start to finish.

We dined here on Sunday. Our server was Jill and she did a great job, friendly and courteous. I ordered the salmon and was stunned by how good it was, on par with Ivers in Seattle. I got to meet and thank the chef, Kenny. A young man with the ability to produce this superb dish in a chain restaurant. They both earned a tip for such excellent food and serviceOutstanding.

On the road traveling and decided to stop for a sit down meal. O’ Harley’s didn’t disappoint! Our waitress Jill was funny and so helpful! She recommended a few different items and they were all delicious! Salads are big enough for two, the club sandwich was delicious and their potato soup was cheesy and topped with bacon. Will definitely make this location our stop when passing through!

Faith was an amazing server. The honey drizzled chicken is always cooked perfectly. Goes so well with the smashed potatoes. Our food came out so fast and we were never low on drink!

The server was great. She was really friendly. The food was not so good. I had chicken fingers, which were okay. My daughter had fried pickles and potato skins. Both of those weren't good.

The staff and hostess were very welcoming and accommodating to our party tonight. There were 13 people in our group and when we arrived they did not hesitate to make arrangements for us on such short notice. We were originally scheduled to eat at Olive Garden but upon our arrival we were told we’d have to share the party room with 2 other parties. Then, after waiting for nearly an hour, we were told we could not be seated in the party room at all. Our waitress Dana was beyond excellent! She was engaged with our party the entire night. She made sure we had no issues and received everything we needed, always keeping a smile on her face. She gave us stellar service. She was the epitome of what a waitress should be. Excellent service tonight!

Today was a blessing. My daughter's birthday was today. We had another location but the space was too small. We changed to O Charley's. I am so happy we did. The hostess was 16 years old and very pleasant send helpful. The manager Don was very welcoming and accommodating. He was upfront and honest about two servers due to staff shortage.. i can work with you when you give great customer service.. Our server was Awesome!!! Food was on point.. This experience was everything.. My daughter was satisfied and that's all that matters.

What a very nice lunch my friend and I had at our local O’Charley’s Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service by Jill was impeccable! Say Hi to Jill and ask for her when you go there, I know we will request her. And I’m sure any server there will be excellent, but we really enjoyed having Jill and her sparkly eyes and sweet smile!!The GM, John, even stopped by our table, he was very cordial and we had good conversations with him too.

The only person working was the manager. He was taking orders, seating people and cooking. It took forever to get our drinks and food and there was hardly anyone there, maybe 2 other groups that had 4-5 people each. It took us almost 2 hours to get our food and about an hour to get our drinks. It was horrible, the food wasn’t even hot. He said there was 3 other waitresses but he fired them earlier that day. Will not go back.

I ordered the fried shrimp with a loaded baked potato and corn on the cob. I did not even get 6 whole shrimp out of the dozen I was supposed to get. The food came late and was cold. Just bad overall.

This location is close to the interstate. The inside was very clean and the staff are friendly. We did have to wait about 15 min for our waitress to take our order. It was obvious she was busy with several large tables and they were understaffed. Our food selections were quickly prepared once our order was given and our waitress stopped several times to check on us for drink refills. The meals were delicious and we tipped our waitress well. She was friendly and upbeat despite the challenge of serving 4 tables with over 20 people. She is a pro!

My family of 4 arrived and was told it was a 15-20 minute wait. My family and I was ok with that but looking around there was only 5 tables in the entire restaurant being occupied so we didn’t understand the wait time. Got seated our waitress at first was good. Food came out and my family and I was very disappointed. Our steaks was cold, plain no seasoning at all and undercooked to how we ordered them. The Mac n cheese was also plain and very dry with no cheesy taste. Sweet tea was not sweet. Had to ask for more tea and rolls twice because it was not brought out to us until we asked for it the second time. I was very disappointed with our family night dinner. We won’t be back. We will just deal with the waiting time and stick to Outback where we’re not disappointed!!

O'Charley's is one of those places we count on for reliable satisfaction. It may not surprise us or delight us, but it gets the job done, typically with a smile and with the charm of a distinctive menu and a mural unique to each restaurant location. Plus, their yeast rolls are simply the best in the business: no monkeying around with cheese or other non-bread ingredients. The O'Charley's of Tuscaloosa maintains this great tradition! Our server made delightful conversation, and kept both our rolls and our glasses full. (I can't remember her name, but she's originally from Michigan. Memo to management: whatever you're paying her, it isn't enough.) Aside from our usual favorites, I tried out the corn on the cob (new menu item! or new to me, anyway) and it was fantastic. Don't tell my wife I said this, but it's even better than what she makes. Bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. I'd have given this place 5 stars, but there was no distinctive, location-specific mural, and the vinyl covering our seat cushions was cracked. (Maybe it was just ours. It wasn't bad, mind; we weren't uncomfortable) The place could use a facelift. But the food was excellent as always, and the server spectacular.
