Best steak ever !
Don’t plan your family milestone events at this restaurant. They just recently canceled my reservation on Alabama graduation weekend with less than a month until the date. They offered no explanation of why when I asked via email and they have repeatedly ghosted me when I have attempted to call. Very disappointing. Terrible way to treat people.
We went for my birthday and were very disappointed. No oysters, no soup, no NY Strip, the baked potato's weren't done baking and the croutons on the Ceaser Salad were like bricks. My Delmonico steak was pretty good, but the risotto was undercooked. I felt bad for the waitress as none of this was her fault and you could tell she was embarrassed. The bacon steak was mostly fat and nowhere near as good as the last time we went. The shrimp cocktail sauce was super hot and uneddible. This is usually my favorite place to go, but I don't think we will be going back. Oh, and we were the only customers in the restaurant. Definitely a downgrade from before the name changed.
We recently went and got the chicken and salmon. Worst meal I have had at a restaurant. Service was good, however, food was beyond horrible. Could hardly cut through my chicken with a steak knife.
Having eaten at Dillard's a handful of times, I was severely disappointed at both the inconsistency of their menu and the treatment of their staff. Not only were they out of several key menu items, but it seemed as if they changed the restaurant completely to a BBQ place. Yet, the food is still overpriced and items from the menu were still missing. Furthermore, when I tried to approach the bartender, who was very friendly, she informed me that they were out of both select kinds of bourbon and whiskey. To top it all off, I have spoken to many employees who told me about the inconsistency of getting their tip-based checks from this establishment. Just seems like this place absolutely does not have their ducks in a row!
I have spoken with employees who were given empty promises by the owner regarding their tips, and the poor management is reflected in the service. I would not recommend this place
Had a reservation booked a month in advance for 730pm. Day of, at 500pm they called to ask me to come in earlier as their kitchen was closing early. Bad public relations.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED! It is no longer “Dillard’s Chophouse” it is now “4 Bulls” which is a fancy meat-and-three place. Staff is still transitioning and very polite (but not in control of anything).
Food was very overpriced For the actual quality. I had a ribeye and it was way overcooked had to send it back my second steak was a little better, but was not good for the price. The atmosphere was very beautiful though Very classy by this place has a lot of potential.

We ordered two plates of calamari as appetizers and both were drastically over salted. Our first order of Caesar salad was completely soaked with dressing and liquid, the second ended up being the exact same way and we determined they were pre-frozen before being served. The steaks were also over salted. The asparagus side was the only thing of our entire table that was not overly salty. We ran through the water to compensate for the foods taste. overall I would say it was a piss poor showing of quality in Tuscaloosa.
Drinks were solid and our waitress was incredible! This woman should get a raise as she knew the food being served was questionable. There were many complaints about the salad this night according to her. I honestly felt bad for her.
We spent a solid amount and wouldn’t do it again.

DO NOT order the dry aged Delmonico. I’m pretty sure it was horse. It is definitely not dry aged. It was the toughest steak I’ve ever been served. Shame on them. Actually the whole meal was terrible. Waiter was great.

I ordered the 8oz Prime Filet. The beef was a low quality cut for $45.

Wow, where do I begin. I was sat down by a lovely lady yet the table top was a white piece of paper like a buffet style joint. The drinks I ordered were flavorless except the overwhelming sense of getting me drunk to not really taste the food. The food was bland and didn't show refinement of any of and beyond watching any. Show on how food should have been. Hopefully in the future, the food experience matches the cost.
