So glad we've got this joint in Tuscaloosa (and now one in Northport too). They've got great coffee, friendly service, and good treats. Being located on the Strip might pose problems for accessibility during certain times of year, but even then it can be a chill place to relax.

My family and I have definitely gotten hooked!! They offer efficient and good quality service without having to drive across town. Very friendly staff as well!

I had a fantastic experience at Strange Brew thanks to Stacie, one of the baristas there. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. You can tell she truly cares about the customers — she remembered my order after just one visit and made great recommendations. Her positive energy created such a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me want to stay longer. Strange Brew is lucky to have someone like Stacie behind the counter. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very cool place! The drinks are really good. I think they make them with sparkling water, which I don’t really like, but still good. The sweets are definitely worth the trip! I’ll have to go back and try a couple of different drinks next time!

Strange Brew is such a gem, especially if you’re a college student at UA! It’s within easy walking distance, making it the perfect spot to grab a coffee before class or settle in for a study session. The menu has so many great options—not just coffee, but also energy drinks and a surprisingly solid lunch selection. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic latte, a fun seasonal drink, or something with an extra caffeine kick, they’ve got you covered.

The vibe is super cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere to hang out or get work done. Definitely one of my go-to spots in town!

Their idea for service was certainly a Strange one, so I guess they got the name right.

Great selection of sweets and breakfast foods. But, the house blend coffee is disgustingly sour. The blueberry flavor is meh. SBC should keep more roasts/flavors on tap.
