Me and my husband aren’t from the area and so glad we ended up in this bar! The crowd is great, the atmosphere is great, the drinks are at reasonable prices and taste good, too. We had fun and enjoyed talking to bartender who was very attentive and kind.We loved it!

One of the cleanest bars in Tuscaloosa. Crowd is not too rowdy and customers of any age would feel welcome. Great prices on drinks and very friendly bartenders. My go to place on Alabama game days!

The bar and its staff are awesome and very polite . the environment is very laid back and chill would recommend anyone of age to visit 1831. love that place.
They threw my drink out before they were closed. I had not been drinking that much and then spent a lot of money at their establishment and even tipped them well. And they did that. They said they'd give me a free drink next time but honestly I don't want to come back here if they're going to treat their customers like this. I was trying to have a good time with my friends and they ruined it.
