When we arrived, we were told there was a 2hr wait. We were leaving when a gentleman ask us if we were interested in sitting at the bar. We said sure and was carried in like we were VIP's. Service was top notch and food was delicious

It's always crowded and the city had to have been bribed to approve the permit with such clearly inadequate parking for the businesses in the area. The steak is pretty good, probably the best overall choice in the area for a national chain steakhouse. Inside is noisy and I really don't like the birthday singing that harasses the other guests.

Parking: They have a grass lot around back for additional parking. Don't park at the beauty parlor next door because they are serious about towing you.

A waste of time and money. The country fried steak is all breading. The steak is to tuff to chew. I've never got bad food from a Texas Road House before. But this location is not your average Texas Road House. It's not as clean as most. The food isn't the same either. We also got two rib eyes. Not as bad as the country fried steak. But no door prize. They just did'nt have the flavor that rib eyes normally have. The meat here seems to be below average. The only positive thing was the baked potatoes. But it's hard to mess that up.

Apparently Texas Roadhouses are the place to be in this town. Busiest I've ever seen any restaurant. But that's okay, we had a party of ten and we got seated pretty quickly. Great start. Then our waitress got our drinks out to us fairly quickly before getting our order in. Nice.

Then the wait started.

45 minutes go by, and we get word that 2 pork dishes had to be reordered because "They were cooked, but they came out smelling funny." The manager said that. Should have left right then and there.

At about an hour and 25 minutes after ordering, the food comes out. Cold. Overcooked. And one of the orders was missing.

Our waitress tried her best. But the kitchen really dropped the ball on this one. I've never had a worse experience than this. I've served tables and had some bad nights where things didn't line up right/orders were missed, but this seemed like an absolute nightmare.

Nothing was said or offered to compensate for the wait or food quality. I think it was because our table was young college aged people. Meanwhile, a family next to us waited about 45 minutes for their food, and had the same result. 2-3 workers were at their booth apologizing, offering compensations etc.

Not sure how this place stays open with a night like this. Maybe it's an outlier, off night, but still. Management needs a talking to from some higher ups after this.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but people should be warned.

I was very disappointed in our dining experience tonight. With my experience in the industry, I really wasn’t upset with our experience until management approached our table. Not once did we complain about our experience of waiting nearly an hour for our food only for our steaks to be overcooked. Normally, we would eat whatever we are served bc we do not like to be those people. We simply smiled and told our server that we had very well done steaks and would like a medium steak like we ordered. We understand things happen and it’s a busy night. BUT we were approached by management like we had complained and they were truly rude. Not one time were we even asked about our experience we were just slapped with a voucher for our next visit because “they heard that we were mad”. I was really confused by this because we hadn’t complained. I felt as if I had any feedback to give that they wouldn’t have cared. I didn’t say much at all because I was so taken off guard by her coming over and talking at us in such a way.
I hope in the future that they will first ask about the experience and situation and learn that simply apologizing for the experience goes a long way. I don’t think that they were aware or even cared that we waited so long in the first place and then waited again for our steaks 20 mins after we were quoted 8 mins. The table next to us had waited equally as long and boxed theirs as soon as it came to the table. We felt terrible for our server. You could tell it was a bad night. Maybe that is why management treated us so poorly.

I should have taken a before photo, but everything looked so delicious I had to dive right in. The chicken was fantastic, salad was great, and the sweet potato was cooked to perfection.

My mother and I were seated very quickly, took a moment for our food to come out, but everything was delicious. The server may have been tired or had a bad day. She wasn't that friendly, and it took too long on our to-go order. I will definitely come back. Due to the fall off the bone ribs and those delicious rolls mmmmmmm
