We arrived shortly after closing time and the owner was gracious enough to allow us inside. He gave us great recommendations as it was our first visit. Everything tasted delicious and the sandwiches were huge! The staff was wonderful too! I cannot recommend this place enough and am so thankful to everyone at The Deli Press!
Everything we’ve tried from the deli press is delicious…. But the chopped Italian is UN.MATCHED. The staff and owner are all incredible, and if you haven’t been here yet you’re missing out!
the Deli Press is my favorite place to go for lunch The food is amazing I love that they have unique specials every week so there is always something new to try!
Ordered the Italian sandwich. The meat mixture was nearly tasteless and almost all ham. The bread was the biggest disappointment. It was some type of yeasty roll and not an Italian or even a hoagie roll. Yuckie.

Hands down the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The turkey Brie was unlike anything like I’ve ever tasted. While the black and bleu was salty, it was still very flavorful. The Mac and cheese is ok, but the gumbo is delicious. I’m gonna try a different sandwich everytime I’m in Tuscaloosa.

I ordered the chopped Italian and it was so salty. The roll was delicious and the potato salad was very good!

It was just meh… I had the Solomon… meat tasted kinda cheap. Lots of fat/grizzle in the salami or pastrami… I wouldn’t get that sandwich again. I’d try something else if I even go back… the Mac and cheese was yum though… I would go again to give it another try… maybe try the club next time… if you mess that up then goodbye. lol overall though it was too expensive for what it wasz just my opinion though
Exceptional customer service. The best soup and sandwich I’ve had in Tuscaloosa. Hard to beat the grilled cheese. Really a great restaurant!!! Also we have it frequently for take out at our office and it’s great.

One of the worst sandwiches ever. BLT had 1 piece lettuce 1 piece bacon 1 old tomato on cold stale bread. Please do not eat here. Horrible and 16 dollars for a sandwich

Always really nice and quick service. I had the chopped Italian with a cup of duck gumbo and an extra side of the ranch bacon pasta. The chopped Italian was really good, although I think the addition of some mild banana pepper would be even better. The duck gumbo was fabulous. The pasta salad was only okay - it reminded me of the cheap box kind.

Great lunch! Highly recommended!!
Very disappointed in my first visit. Neither sandwich was cut in half, no biggie but the bell pepper slaw was rancid. It was dated 8/6 & stunk! The Cajun pot salad dated 8/7. Today is 8/92024. When I called about the slaw they said oh it's not bad...Well I wanted to drive back and have him eat it! Just so disappointed ?I have pictures but can't get to post
