Tokyo Express

Tokyo Express is a pretty good sushi restaurant, service is good, never takes too long. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick place to grab sushi.

Hibachi Steak is delicious! Very generous portions and it comes with a soup that is a good appetizer. Will definitely be eating at this location regularly. One of my favorites in Northport.

One of my favorite places to grab quick sushi. My favorite roll is the Godzilla and it’s always fresh. They are always extremely nice and helpful with our order. I’ve eaten here for years and it’s consistent which is a blessing when some places are not.

I always get the Tuscaloosa roll at Tokyo Express in Northport, and usually don't have any problems, but this day was just disappointing. As I was eating I noticed pieces of the crab meat were black, which has never been the case before. So I called the store shortly after I picked it up and they stated they'd like to see. I drive back and show them and the two ladies began to speak in a different language. One went back to show me a pack of crab meat and the other stated it's "probably the salt on the meat". After she immediately offered to remake it as I had only ate one sushi roll. I waited and they remade it I went to my car and looked at it again to ensure it wasn't the same case. I now saw pieces of black crab meat in each sushi roll. So I go back and ask what it is nicely and she stated it's eel sauce. I've never seen eel and repeated its eel sauce. I've never seen eel sauce look like this....so of course I left to avoid being late for work. no refund or anything just "it's probably salt" to "it's eel sauce".
