Not gluten free, not made in house as advertised. As someone with celiac disease and type one diabetes it is imperative ensure the food is as advertised. While people realize the risks of eating out you CANNOT advertise gluten free if it is not. People get sick from these things.Staff were friendly and coffee is good.
Egg sandwich is $9? Go to cravings!!!
I used to live right above UPerk. I love the coffee and atmosphere.
I had a meeting here today and had to bring my two children with me. The young lady at the counter was so kind to them, every guest that came in, and me. My kids enjoyed their experience. We will be back again for lunch.

This unique little coffee house is tucked away on a side street off The Strip in Downtown Tuscaloosa. It’s a friendly place that offers a large space full of cozy sitting areas great for conversations and studying. It kind of reminds me of the “Friends” Central Perk. The coffee is really good and there’s a great selection of baked goods. Reagan assisted me with my selections and was helpful and knowledgeable. She told me she had worked there for about 1.5 years which is remarkable itself. She makes a great caramel macchiato, too. Be sure to check out UPerk. You’ll love it.

It is a wonderful coffee shop in downtown Tuscaloosa with a large variety of coffee. You will find from Starbucks like to strong caffeine as macciato or cortado. Excellent ambient and better attention.

A nice place to have decent meal but opened from 3pm daily except Sunday.
This is such a cute little spot! As soon as I walked in the girls were so friendly and approachable. My barista made sure I knew about the full menu and she made an excellent cup of coffee for me. Will definitely come back?

If ever you are in the title town area (Tuscaloosa, AL / Roll Tide), you have to make Uperks your coffee spot. All of the Staff members are super awesome and know how to make any beverage you ask for (coffee related of course) Thanks to their former Manager Jay.
Best coffee in T-town! Everything we ordered was delicious. Sundays are their busiest days... I would avoid going during that time. But it is worth the wait for a good coffee!
