The food is good. The staff hate being there and refuse to keep the store open the hours it says it's open. I tried to go back the next day after the owner apologized to give them another chance. They only gave me one piece of fish in the box I give up on this place. Drive 30 mins for what's supposed to be the best fish in town to get let down over and over. I give

I ordered 2 dinner plates. A fish and shrimp plate and a popcorn shrimp dinner. Two 2-go boxes were in my bag, and the lady said it was everything. Then, when I got home, i realized half of what I got was wrong and/or missing. There is no shrimp with my fish and shrimp plate. And I was missing a side. But I was finally at home and too tired to go back.

Lady at the window bad attitude!! Horrible telling people to hurry up cause she got to go home! Shoves my food almost like throwing it in my hand ! Awful service! If she's the owner shes horrible!! She talk to customers like dogs!!! Lightskin short cut! Y'all can say she sweet as pie but nope that's a lie! I give energy and when she immediately has an attitude I gave it back! Food tasted fine, but I ordered the deluxe crab platter, which comes with one stuffed crab, one crab cake, two fish fillets, and five peices of shrimp and two sides. My two sides were double okra, and I ordered the extra 2 stuffed crab for 3.99 My mother got home with the food and I was so mad! I opened this box to okra, fries, and two crab cakes. That was it! And on the side was my two stuffed crab. So all that came on my order was three things. It was missing one stuffed crab, five peices of shrimp, two fish fillets, and one side of okra. I would have taken it back or called them but they closed already. Not much I can do about it now unfortunately but I was very upset half of my order was missing completely.

Drive thru customer service when we pulled up was an abrupt “HOLD ON” and that’s it. Customer service in this town in almost all of our fast food places have gone to crap. Got tired of waiting so we drove off.

I'm trying to leave a few good reviews. I hate most of the places in Valley these days. Captain Ds is one of the few we occasionally eat at. Food is hit or miss sometimes-spices or amounts. Service is slow but that is due to type of food and expected. Atmosphere is much better than most places. We always seem to get the chatty woman at the window and she is sooo nice. She makes it seem like you are at a family restaurant vs a food chain. Love her.
