Well...I tried Chuck's based on a fellow employee's recommendation. It seemed like a typical southern barbecue joint from the outside and upon entering the typical continued. I went to the counter to order and 4 teenage employee's were engaged in teenage banter. I stood there for 7 or 8 minutes while they joked around. Finally, one of them noticed me and took my order. Anyway, I got home and we made some
sandwiches from the que. The barbecue was fairly fatty with little smoky flavor and their sauce was meh. My take...save your time and money and search elsewhere for your barbecue.

The chip pork is perfect for making sliders and the slaw is some of the best I have ever eaten! I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten at Chuck’s. The servers are extremely nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The ribs were tough but had a good flavor. Service was as fast as they could go for as busy as the drive thru was. The guy that cut the ribs was very polite.

Ribs were just okay! The fries were soggy and undercooked. The cake!!! The key-lime cake was the driest piece of cake I have EVER eaten. And let’s be honest, I could tell it was dry before I bought it but I have a sweet tooth. No sign of keylime in the cake so it must just be food coloring.

Food was not good and it was cold and my wife got sick, service was bad the young people that was working. 2feb24 at night only talked about hoping the store would close early. More and more customers keep walking in and they continued showing their frustration. Some stood behind the counter talking about they did not know what to do next. This matter is not over!

A local legend. I've been dining here since the 1980's and it's still just as good!
