1st. time trying Jack's family restaurant. Plenty of parking. My wife and I were greeted quickly and ordered our food. We ate in and there were plenty of clean tables. There was a fireplace ( not on ). We'll definitely be back we both enjoyed our breakfasts , and look forward to trying the fried chicken and sides they offer.

We are from SC and we always look for the JACKS sign when we enter Alabama. Great food, large selection and the best prices. The staff are the best people, they are so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for our trip back home so we can stop again.

Don't expect to stop here on a weekend if you're driving late. Store was closed at 10 despite the 11pm closing time posted on the door
I ordered at the drive through,on fri 06/06/25 at about 10:26 my order #95, my order was $3.28 cents if handed her $20.00 , she gave me my food first,then gives me back my change inside the receipt.well she looks at me and say good day I also tell her good day.I forgot to check my hand with the receipt and change she had given me.low and behold u gets where am going and look inside the receipt and NO $16 dollars.so I go back to jacks in valley al,I first go back though the drive through and tell her she didn’t give me the correct change.stop I parked in went in long story short,the manager didn’t say good morning or hello nothing…….she had the most worst attitude! I showed my receipt,,she said I got to count down the register,with that bad attitude I felt in my guts that the $16 I wasn’t going to be getting it back,and turns and say the (manager)her register ain’t short and then she said matter of fact she short…am like ms, I have no terror lie.and I ask her do jacks have cameras section at the window.if so,run it back,that ghetto women looks at me and so no have a good day.so I said I hope u both enjoy that $16 dollars.

The manager took my order, he was very polite, and his customer service was amazing. Even tho I ordered through the drive-thru I had to run inside to wash my hands. When I was done, he gave me my food and said I appreciate you, come back to see us, and you be safe. I don't know that just hit home with me. So I decided every time I'm in the area that's where I'm going. He didn't have to but he did! The only complaint I had was the fries were too salty so I wasn't able to eat them!

I ordered 3 chicken strips, mashed green beans and extra biscuit, I received over cooked dried out chicken with bones in, mashed & green biscuit and no extra biscuit. I live 15 miles away 🤔.
