The kolaches were underbaked, very doughy and dense at the bottom. The staff was rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there or do their simple job.If you want a good kolache go to Shipley’s Donuts.

American Kolache 2/10 I wanted to love this place. The Nutella with marshmallows was really good and would get again! Mac n cheese & bacon - has SO much potential to be good. I would love to see thick creamy velveeta shells with fresh crispy bacon. Instead, there were dry elbow noodles with bacon bits Chicken bacon ranch - dry with bacon bits again. Not terrible but not great. Buffalo chicken - good! Flavorful! Would get again! I'm skeptical because these appeared to be sitting at room temp on normal trays. Do they not need to be refrigerated or kept hot to keep bacteria from growing after a few hours? Especially the ones with meat and cheese? I'm a science nerd by trade and foodie by fun - so these types of questions run through my mind. I also made a point to look for their health rating and couldn't find it. I did have the option to have them microwaved and chose to. But what about the people that choose to not microwave them? There was one nice lady working. I was the only one in there at about 12:30pm - what I would think to be optimal lunch time. I didn't see much turnover or the need to bake fresh ones every 2 hours or so - is the point I'm trying to make. There is not a lot of tables - maybe 2. So expect to get it to go. Probably won't be back.

Ok. I don't know if I would go again or not. It looked like they had sold most of their products by 10 am. There are two dining tables so plan on getting an order to go as my suggestion. The kolache seemed like I was just having bread, there was not a lot of filling.

American Kolache offers savory as well as sweet kolaches. The bread is sweet and really good. AK kolaches are different than the pizza kolaches that I am used to. They are round with more bread than filling. They are good but are more of a snack than a meal.

I love kolaches, so I was extremely excited when I heard this was coming to town. These kolaches are different from the ones I am used to since they are round and a bit smaller. However the variety of options you have to choose from makes me want to keep coming back. I have had quite a few of the different savory choices over several different trips (as tempting as it is to overindulge, I have restrained myself at least somewhat). I personally do not care for the fruit options, if they were filled rather than on top like a danish, I might feel differently. So far I haven't had a savory option that I didn't like but I seem to keep returning to the 'Merica and Chorizo & Egg. The Mac & Cheese and Sausage & Gravy are really good too!If the location was more convenient to my office I would visit more regularly than the occasional swing by for breakfast on the way to work.

Not a fan at all. I’m not sure if it was the ingredients - had the Philly cheesesteak as it was lunchtime- which were not very flavorful. . . Or the texture- because it was suggested to heat it up and that was done in a microwave which turned it into a piece of rubbery dough. Friend had same and a breakfast kolache. She enjoyed her brownie kolache. Personally, I won’t be back. ?Also, owner or worker - felt it fine to park in the handicapped spot in front of the restaurant which is not acceptable to me for any length of time without proper tagging.

Sunday morning at 9:30 and the guy at the counter was putting icing on cinnamon rolls to order. Not that the place was full of customers but it did slow down the flow a bit. Not a fan of dough with the sweet stuff just piped on top instead of being a part of the dough interior. Our egg and cheese kolache was pretty bland. And why not have them warm and ready to eat instead of having to nuke them? Shipley donuts have a far better kolache.

Doughy bread-like substance heated in a microwave. What a joke. This place wouldn’t know a kolache if it bit them on the nose.

Wow!! The food was so good. I got the chicken bacon ranch. I'm more upset with myself that I only got 2!! I could eat those things all day!

I didn't expect it to be just a wall of kolaches when I walked in but it was cool. I got the sweet potato pie and the biscuit and gravy one. Service was quick. Dude at the front warmed them up. Paid, got in the car and pulled away. I almost turned around in the parking lot to get 4 more sweet potato pie ones.
