We’ve been coming to Bruster’s in Vestavia Hills for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite local spots for a sweet treat. The ice cream is always top-notch—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic like chocolate or something more adventurous, they always deliver.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. It’s also located in a calm, easy-to-access area, which makes it a relaxing stop whether you’re with family, friends, or just out for a solo treat.

One of the best parts? Unlimited samples! It’s a great way to try something new without the guesswork. And the customer service is consistently friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the experience.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving ice cream!

The young lady who took our order, over the speaker, was very nice, patient and efficient. I asked her to check my rewards status and if I had anything that might apply, via my phone number, and she cheerfully did so. Wish they would offer “Jamaican me Crazy” much more often, but aside from that, all good😎👍🏻🎶

Loved that great banana split

I am not typically the kind of person to leave an angry review. But I feel like our experience warrants it. While at Bruster's, myself (30 wks pregnant), my husband, and our 14 month old were enjoying ice cream. It started to rain, but we were under an umbrella and not getting wet. A Bruster's employee came out and took the umbrella while I was sitting at the table with my daughter, leaving us both soaking wet while my husband rushed to get the car once he noticed what was going on. This is not proper service - let alone treatment for a very pregnant woman and baby. I don't care if this is store policy, the employee could have politely waited a moment while we gathered our things, but instead jumped on the table to grab the umbrella before we had even a second to collect ourselves and put our daughter in her stroller. You should be ashamed if you think this serving your customers well.

Welcome to Bruster’s, that kicks you out while it’s raining because their umbrellas aren’t “umbrella material.” Apparently they need to take their umbrellas in while it’s raining, even if paying customers are using it as shelter.

God Forbid their umbrellas get wet. As long as you pay for their room temperature ice cream, they are okay sending my wife and baby out in the rain without allowing me to get the car.

Fabulous service Buster’s. Very much NOT kid friendly. Hope your umbrellas are safe. We won’t be back.

Great ice cream. Tons of options. It's definitely a chain, but it's quality stuff. Only negative that ever stands out, especially with kids, is no bathroom. I realize this may be by design, but it definitely has potential to create some issues!

My ice cream was melted and they all abandoned their posts to talk to their friends in the back. Left 2 customers hanging. Would never come back. Disappointed ☹️. Only 2 came back out. They deserve a raise. If you don't replace these workers with actual grown people then you won't be seeing money making opportunities. Your workers should be featured on kitchen nightmares! ?
