The servers are nice and it’s in a cool spot, but the pizza just absolutely sucks. Stale tasting crust and tomato sauce that taste like ketchup. If you want good pizza this is not it. Oh and, 22 bucks for what’s pictured

I ordered 2 pizzas both under cooked barely cut. The crust was like wet mush. Not happy spending almost 60 dollars and couldn’t eat them!!!
Great food. Terrible and slow service. Management didn't seem to care.
Always great pizza, i wish they had something like breadsticks for app's, but hard to complain when the pizza is fresh

We haven't had a Davenport pizza in years and we were really looking forward to it. But, unfortunately the pizza was burnt and not very tasty. Very disappointed! We picked it up from the vestavia location.
Davenport used to be my wife’s favorite pizza place so while we were in the area, we stopped in for lunch at the best of location. As soon as we sat down, the server was at our table asking for our drink orders and our Diet Coke were served promptly. He handed us a menu (which was very limited), then we didn’t see him for a while. I finally waved him over and he took our order. I thought that they small 9 inch pizza would be a bit too small for me so I ordered Vegetable pizza (toppings - onions, mushrooms, & green peppers) with an extra topping of Roma tomato’s. My wife order the lunch special, a small pizza with two topping - in her case pepperoni and green olives. When the pizzas arrived, I realized that the small pizza would’ve been funny large enough for me and the medium was for more than I could eat in one sitting. My wife said that her pizza was good, but nothing special. I didn’t think that you could have too much cheese on a pizza, but I was wrong all of the toppings except the Roma tomatoes on my pizza were covered by a thick way of cheese. It was okay, I liked the crust on the edges, but again nothing special. Maybe the original Davenport location is better.

Waited a hour for a grubhub pickup. The second order I picked up was cold because both orders were accepted at the same time. Staff didn’t even have sense enough to offer me a drink.

It was our first time to Davenport’s and overall it was really good. Not our favorite pizza in Birmingham but still very good if you like thin crust pizza. I wouldn’t order the salad again. Other than that, we enjoyed it!

Great taste; service was efficient; pricier than I expected and a little noisy.

Terrific experience. We ate there for my SILs birthday party and loved it. Very family friendly and we enjoyed dining outside. Food was legit and service was excellent. Bravo!
Kid-friendliness: It’s a great place to sit outside with the kids. There’s also some small areas of astroturf where kids can play. Cool layout.
