We LOVE DOODLES! No fat sorbets and ices. Huge variety of Flavors, incredible and creative! Service is always great! We love all the young people who work at Doodles. Not much ambiance but nice outdoor tables and logs to sit on. Lots of room for kids to run and play.

I was craving something sweet on a 100 degree day. I ordered the Key Lime Sorbet and Root Beer Italian Ice. I'd imagine there are even better flavors, but these were both 10/10 in my book. Less expensive than any of the ice cream chains around town too.

YOU ARE THE COOLEST! Doodles is a well known hole in the wall shaved ice, and sorbet shop in Cahaba Heights. On summer nights this spot is popping with tons of families and kids. But on cooler nights it is like a ghost town. Jasmine and I came by yesterday for an after work snack. Going in we didn't really know what to expect, but it was fabulous. When you first get to Doodles, the parking situation is a little rough, so keep that in mind when first coming by. But because last night was one of the cooler nights we found a perfect parking spot. The building is set up in a way that it is a house that they have converted into an ice cream shop. You will see a large menu off to the right of the window with all of the flavors. I'm not sure which flavors are seasonal and which are year round flavors, but they all look as delicious as the next. A girl popped her head out the window when she noticed us, I of course asked for her suggestions. She gave some fruity suggestions, chocolate suggestions too. Her customer service was top notch. Jasmine had asked her what a small cup looked like, when she pulled the cup we saw just how big/small the cup was and then she explained how high they will fill the cup. Small was the perfect size for us. I winded up ordering the chocolate raspberry truffle and Jasmine ordered the banana fudge. Both were delicious. Creamy, crunchy and all around delicious. It shocked me how they were able to make these ices so creamy when they are water based, but I was so happy to finally try Doodles. If you haven't had the chance to stop by, this is going to be a popping spot during the spring and summer months, so I would plan ahead.
