El Poblano Mexican Restaurant

I've been going to this restaurant for almost 20 yrs. The food & service used to be much better. I don't go as much as i used to. A few weeks ago my beef enchilada meal was too salty. I did an Uber pick up order today, made it home with my food & order was wrong.

Watched them go down hill over the last 20 years. The one thing i will say about restaurants, especially sit down, nice ones is no flies.

1000000000/10 love this restaurant! Literally my #1 favorite Mexican restaurant since I’ve lived in Alabama ! I always get their enchiladas verde ! And queso dip! AMAZING FOOD!

I ordered pickup for my family and let me just say, the food was delicious. I don’t know who made the guacamole but it was perfect!!! We all enjoyed our food and will definitely ordering again. Plus the price was not terrible at all 52 dollars for a family of five is a steal.

Food was very poor quality, called to address the food quality and staff was not concerned. Would not recommend.

Such a poor to-go order experience. Ordered a large queso and paid extra for salsas because they will only give 2 tiny ones (even though we ordered 6 adult entrees). Put one tiny bag of chips in the bag to go with the queso and salsas. Also, got our chicken and cheese quesadillas wrong. Only gave us cheese & had to drive back because my toddler was upset with no chicken and to ask for more chips. They opened them up and put a little chicken on them didn’t make new and said we can give you a few more chips. Such a bummer we order from here all the time & it’s not ok they keep doing this. Hope they see this and will give the appropriate amount of chips? It makes no sense? Unlimited in restaurant? And barely any for take out?

Please consider families who don’t want to bring screaming toddlers in your establishment but still like chips to easy their queso & salsa!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is a great experience if you eat at the restaurant. However if you order a to go order they give you chips and a small container of salsa with your meal. If you order Cheese Dip they do not include any additional chips. If you ask they say there are chips in the bag. So disappointing.

This is the best Mexican food place in Vestavia… In my opinion, I meet with my networking group every Tuesday night there and everything is good. They also have healthy options. You can order steak with avocado and pico by itself and it’s very affordable under $10 the atmosphere is good we usuallydine and meet in the back area by the bar. The owner and all the staff are wonderful and very attentive.
