Higher Ground Coffee

I love higher ground roasters for their high quality and consistently great coffee. I have been a customer for more than 5 years. We've had some issues lately, but they graciously refunded my money.

I have been ordering from them for years, I never received my last order from Oct. Confirmation emails stopped being sent a year ago.I re ordered on November 21, 2025, I haven’t received my order and no one will respond to my emails or voicemails. The better business bureau will be contacted! They might as well close the doors! I’m just curious to see if they still supply Modica Markets house coffee in Sea Side FL….

took over a month to shop order and then only sent half of it. used to be good. Been ordering from them for years. They have gone way down hill.

My last orders have taken forever. My most recent days partially paid ? Don’t know why and status unfulfilled. Have emailed and left messages repeatedly. It’s been 3 weeks! Bad customer service. I expect a call about my order situation. Been a custom for over 10 years! Very disappointed!!’

Also the coffee is no longer available at Piggly Wiggly

Just the best coffee! I am so happy to have found higher ground roasters ! You guys are doing things the right way !!

I came to check this place out be cause I had some time to kill and want to avoid Starbucks but, shop is closed. I saw in the other review where you're randomly closed to, "make deliveries, but come back another time". It doesn't make sense to keep driving back here in case you're actually open. Not a smart business decision to have random closings so people have to guess.

This place is obviously closed. Their Internet presence showed that they were open but the door was locked and there were pallets leaning against the counter as if they were moving out. Don't know what's going on there.

We have been drinking Higher Ground for uh… how many years? Quite a few I think. I love the ease of ordering, quick delivery, the variety, and sticking my nose into a bag of coffee to breathe it in… Oh yes, we drink it every morning too. It is how we start our day. We have used it for gifting too.

I ordered 4 types of coffee from them. I placed the order on a Tuesday & received it on the following Thursday (I am just one state away). There was a handwritten note inside the box that said my coffee was roasted the Monday prior to my placing the order. So far, I have only tried the Bolivian Caranavi. I have made several Americanos in my espresso machine with it which I enjoyed very much and, I also made a mocha latte for my daughter which she said was delicious. The taste profile is spot on for this variety (just as described), and I can't wait to try the other varieties that I have purchased.
