Went at lunch time. Really enjoyed the chicken and dressing! Everything else was good as well. Weird "hall" to walk to line, but service was friendly and place looked nice otherwise. Would go back.

This is a meat and 3 place. They have great home cooked style entrees and sides. It's a nice atmosphere and clean. The meatloaf is awesome! Staff there is friendly and helpful.
The turnip greens, cornbread and banana pudding is great! The service is excellent too.

We loved this restaurant when it originally opened but today was not the same. There were gnats flying around (red flag). One of the workers stared at us the entire time. And the food was it fresh. They began cleaning while we were there the smell made us sick our stomach. We were sick the rest of the afternoon. Joel's is definitely not what it use to be.

Holy crud this was delicious. So many great fresh options to choose from, and such friendly service. I felt like I was a part of a family when I was dining here! The food cooled down a little quicker that I wish, but the taste easily made up for it. You walk in, order, sit down, a waiter/waitress comes by for drinks, you eat, choose dessert, and pay when you're all done! Super simple process. You won't regret stopping by! Pictured: Country Fried Steak and Gravy, Grits and Greens, Cornbread, Fried Okra, and Mac n Cheese.

Waited for the doors to open at 11:00am (after fasting for a doctor appt, so I was hangry) and was not disappointed. Good meat and three place. Very friendly service. Nice neighborhood.
