With regret, I read on their website that Klingler’s has closed after 30 years. I know people that drove over 3 hours 1-way for breakfast and/or their baked goods.

Nice brats plate. My husband had a meatloaf special that was amazing too. We will be back when in town.

Very sad to post this as their brunch is delicious. However, one of my close friends had them cater her wedding and Klingers completely left off half of her order and tried blame her initially for the mistake till she showed the receipt and proved that she had already paid for the items they failed to bring. She tried to resolve the issue several times and continuously was given the runaround or would not receive return calls for weeks at a time. To date- almost 3 months after the westing, they have still not refunded her for their error or truly tried to make it right.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the food they offer is so delicious. I never decline to have a nice dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Tried their Black Forest Cake, as al.com touted it as one of the best desserts in Birmingham. Nope. It was incredibly dry and stale. Very disappointing. Also, the service at the counter was slow and unfriendly.

Great Deli & eat in or outside! They have a great Club sandwich, with smoked Ham, Turkey & cheese! Nice place for a quick lunch!

Would like to give five stars to this restaurant because of their amazing taste of desserts and German foods. They offer really delicious dishes. Some include Black Forest Ham, Lentil and Smoked Sausage, Schnitzel Sandwich, and Smoked Bratwurst.

Neat place with likeable down to earth staff. We had a large loud group but they managed it well and with grace.

Came here for brunch on a weekend while visiting Birmingham. This spot is quaint and filled with Gerrman inspired family heirloom looking paraphernalia along with delicious food. Breakfast sandwich is good-black forest ham, egg and melted cheese do the trick. The blintz are nuts but good-they don't have real nuts, but they're nuts because they will give you diabetes. It comes with two strips of bacon on top to make it feel more breakfastesque. Friendly servers, good price, hot food. A lot of people came and got baked goods to take out. Would come back.

I had the Lorraine quiche and roasted red peppers soup. It was very good.

German family restaurant serving authentic German sausages & sides. Great breakfast including crepes. Friendly service & a fresh bakery counter.

This was my first time eating here. I will definitely be back. The potato salad was delicious. It is your typical German potato salad. Great place and I highly recommend it. Also, try the German chocolate cheesecake.

Well I’d really like to rate this place but we sat there for 20 minutes today and never got waited on. No menu, no greeting , nothing. Never had been in and anxious to try it. Won’t be back.

Excellent! Had the Boho, double smoked sausage sandwich, which had great flavor. It was quiet and low key, which my companions said was far from typical. Server was pleasant and cordial.
