Great place, good decor and drinks, with good service.

Can't say I love the barbeque, but maybe that's just me!

This is a great local BBQ place. The food is always fresh and hot, though sometimes you have to wait a little bit for it. It can get crowded, so be careful and mindful of when you go. I have never had any issues with the staff or service, and they are always quick to resolve any issues. Will go again.

Recently attended a seminar here where lunch was provided.....this place was represented to presenter as providing a "quiet, secluded area" suitable for a presentation....we were seated on an outdoor patio area with plastic sheeting walls & outdoor heaters next to one of the two main entrances into the establishment. The music was so loud we could barely hear the presentation...not to mention the constant barrage of folks walking back & forth in front of the A/V screen. To top it off, one of the servers decided to open one of the large garage type doors which totally exposed our small group to even more noise & traffic...after that, we couldn't hear at all! We had no server assigned to our area , had to get our own drinks & stand in a long line of other customers to place our food orders. The food was mediocre at best....bbq pork tasted like it was boiled in a crock pot/no flavor.....the sauce on the table(as none came on the meat) was akin to red water with peppersauce added. Sweet tea was not sweet. As a business owner, if you are going to accomodate private groups, then do so AND do it right.....clearly all you care about is the $$$. As for the lack of service, I truly hope the company putting on the presentation did not tip. We will never revisit nor recommend this place to anyone! Grade: F minus!

Parking: Too noisy.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of screaming kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Would be very difficult.

Great barbecue. And the hamburgers are very good. Parking is an issue. So, arrive early.

Tennessee style thin, vinegar BBQ sauce. Just not my favorite. Baked beans and French fries are excellent.

First time to Martins! It was good but needed to ask for a different barbecue sauce. The vinegar based one on the tables was not my favorite. Brisket tacos were great as was the pork. The turkey and chicken were good. Hush puppies were a little gritty! We didn’t try the pie which is unusual for me but will next time.

Great service! The food was not very good in my opinion. I don’t like breadcrumbs on my Mac n cheese and the pulled pork was not my favorite. However, the waiter was very kind! Next time I’d order something different.

We had a wonderful visit at Martin’s. All of the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel like we were a part of the family. The food was awesome! The Redneck Tacos are so good. The barbecue is amazing and so full of flavor. Luis, the manager, was so kind and generous. I highly recommend a visit. We will definitely go back.

I’m giving them a “1” tonight because there isn’t a “0.” When I got home from getting my curbside order, I saw they had left out our two orders of fries, so without complaining, I drove back there and received fries as the worker very happily said, “Sorry about that!” I got back home and started to eat, but guess what—my cheeseburger was a disgusting mess and half-cooked—cooked in a few spots and a pink, disgusting mess in many other spots. There is no excuse for this. They may be busy, but so is everyone else.

How can a BBQ restaurant run out of ribs! I come here twice and it happened both times. Very dissapoined. The other things were good, but I’ve come here for the ribs.

They were out of basically everything we wanted to order. So they need to prepare better for the quantity of food they can serve.

meat was ok, sides and drinks less so. Surprisingly, brisket portions were tiny, at least compared to the sister’s restaurant in Nashville. In Birmingham it felt more like a French restaurant than an American bbq. Perhaps they were afraid of running out of meat. Speaking about running out of food. The first time we visited they had no brisket. The second time they were out of ribs, chili and Cahaba …. I don't think I will go back
