I’ve been going to Red Lobster for 35-40 years and never had a bad meal until tonight. The baked potatoes looked like they were 4-5 days old. I don’t understand how someone could cut them open and not tell they were discolored and nasty. The lobster itself was extremely over cooked. Walter’s shrimp was solid and the salad was delicious. The server wasn’t friendly (not rude either but obviously just going through the motions and never offered drink refills to us). It was a very disappointing experience all the way around.
I ordered a Caesar salad and I was brought a salad with iceberg lettuce and the dressing simply taste like mayonnaise. The salmon was cooked well but not seasoned. However, the servers were very nice restaurants were clean. That is something that’s very important to me when I go to a restaurant.

I called here at 8: 25pm to place an order and was met with a snipey attitude and was told the kitchen is closed. I asked why would the store be open till 9:00 if I cannot put an order in I was told the kitchen closes at 8:15. I will be sure to contact the manager about this. Date April 16th

The food is awful this is just another APPLEBEE'S to me.
Went for lunch at 1230 and the place was dead which was odd for lunch so myself and two other customers waited up front there was no one to seat us so after 10 mins I went inside the dining area to find someone. I ordered the lobster lovers dream they did not bring a lobster fork to eat it with and only one of the lobster tails were edible. For the dining room to be so slow I had to ask twice for a refill....and sad to say the entire place looked old and dumpy. I did however tip the server 40% because I do not think the experience was her fault however I will not be coming back.

This was actually terrible. The front door hostess’ attitude was awful. She barely said anything as we entered. Her mannerism were as if we were inconveniencing her. As we exited, she was on her phone and didn’t say anything at all. The waiter was fine, but we waited for about 40 minutes for our food. Just as we were about to leave, the food finally came. It tasted freezer burned. My husband’s food wasn’t good either. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Janae is amazing! We ate at this location 2 nights in a row and had her both nights. Let me just say she always goes above and beyond and made sure we were getting amazing customer service and also amazing food. Janae never let our drinks touch the bottom of our glasses. She was fully energetic and proud to serve us. We had the unlimited shrimp your way and it was all fresh and delicious. The garlic shrimp scampi and salt and vinegar shrimp were hot and fresh everytime Janae brought them out. Also the general manager Terry stopped by our table to check on us and made us feel very welcomed and glad that we were there. We will definitely be back! Go to vestavia red lobster and ask for Janae you will leave more than satisfied!!
