Everything on the menu is amazing! Best crab claws and hush puppies in Birmingham! Fish tacos are insane and the homemade sauces pair perfectly with each item! I loved the tarter sauce, Cajun snappy, their own cocktail!! The bread that the poboys come on is really from New Orleans and is awesome! I wish the had inside dining! Staff and service are wonderful! Also try their chili… it’s som of the best I’ve had from a restaurant, as well as the chicken salad….yum!!

This is for the Liberty Park location: I wish I had taken photos of every incredible item we tried(but see for yourself on the online menu)! Everything is just as amazing as everything looks! Everything from the crab claws (more meat on these than most you order in Birmingham), the tarter and cocktail sauces, the shrimp poboy and fish tacos was outstandingly delicious!!! Pasta salad, both types of slaw and other housemade sauces are delicious and will definitely satisfy your hunger. Portions are excellent for the price you pay! The staff is also very helpful, welcoming and made recommendations based off our preferences! Excellent service! And don't sleep on the sriracha ranch! It's good on everything! Also tasted the best chicken salad I've had in Birmingham(and I have tried almost all of them) and the pimento cheese was equally delicious!I can't wait to go back and try the pimento cheese blt or grilled cheese with the chili! They gave me a sample of chili and it's just like my mom makes!!! (Maybe better) They also have several weekly/daily specials like a pork chop and meatloaf sandwich! Oh and burgers looked amazing!

We order food from Snapper Grabbers at least once a week! Either fresh seafood, meals from the grill, or grab-and-go sides/ meals. Everything is so delicious and super fresh. So thankful to have fresh seafood and meat in such proximity to our house. Plus the owner is super kind!

Shrimp Po Boy and Potato Salad were VERY good! The bread is the right kind and the remoulade sauce on it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never had potato salad with sausage and corn in it but it works! My Cajun husband gave this meal his approval!

My daughter wanted peel and eat shrimp and she got all she wanted and more here! I had shrimp tacos and loved them! Highly recommend!

I have gotten several of Snapper Grabber’s Land & Sea meal prep kits and have LOVED every one of them. We just finished eating some of their prepared CHICKEN POPPYSEED CASSEROLE, and once again enjoyed a delicious meal! The staff at LAND & SEA in Liberty Park is outstanding and I would highly recommend LAND & SEA to any discriminating palette!

Last week was Oyster night with friends at our house! Plans were to have raw oysters and grilled oysters for appetizers. Artichoke Oyster Soup with Mixed greens, pomegranate and walnut salad with vinaigrette dressing. I knew I needed fresh oysters and a lot of them. I called SG Land and Sea to check on availability. I was in luck. I asked what size do u have and was told “Medium “. Really wanted some big ones but said OK! When I got the oysters home and started my prep work they were the most beautiful large oysters I have seen….and oh so fresh! Having lived in the Destin area for the past 19 years I had some experience eating oysters. These were the best oysters I could have ever hoped for…. Thanks for a wonderful experience and excellent Oyster night…

Alright, after visiting about 10 times I decided its time for a review. I have only visited on my Friday lunch hour, never for dinner, only because I don't live in the area. Snapper Grabber's has a fantastic selection of fresh seafood on the right half of their restaurant. On the left side, its a cute dining area with plenty of outside seating as well. The menu is always on a giant chalk board in the air BUT be careful, as Snapper Grabbers (even though they have a seafood selection across the way) is FREQUENTLY out of their most popular menu items and this is my biggest complaint about the place. They are steadily out of oysters and I think they took the steak bombs off the menu (why?!). My second complaint about SG's is the portions..... every plate is small and the sides are literally children's sides. The last complaint is that.. part of the staff (I'm not gonna name or position drop) is never ever ever ever friendly or welcoming and I've brought guests to SG's and they've also commented on it. However with all this being said, if you can find a menu item that is in stock/season, and you don't mind small portions or a less than exciting ordering experience, the food is always great and consistent.
