I LOVE this location. Management is awesome and cares for their staff. This location is dog-friendly, clean, efficient, and has an inviting atmosphere. They have plenty of shading with fans outside, too. I love coming here to study or work on projects!

Today we’re having heavy rain and this location didn’t have a cover over the menu, the cover over the pickup window isn’t large enough to block the rain, and the employee, Chris, she’s just not the right person to have taking orders on a rainy day when everything has to be repeated 5 or more times. Not a great experience at all. I drive past 2 other locations because this location usually has better service and is faster.

Asking for clarification that my name is not Jamie, the lackluster hand wave from an all too busy employee to not simply point to my order. Eating outside to not disturb the guest with my dog and not being offered a pup cup, fou paws. I care not for the franchise coffee shop and it's rich CEO free marketing of poorly understood names in moments such as this morning clarification being a polite gesture when my thoughts know all too well how the garbled names spelled. Older lady at the window was extremely condescending at the drive thru because she did not like the small inconvenience it took for her to get a mobile order ticket instead of us ordering at the speaker. She told us to “go away” when we pulled up to the window.
Ordering by mobile close to the store instead of ordering at the window is an inconvenience to workers due to having to pivot work flow to look for a ticket instead of having order on hand at the window. It is no reason to treat customers so poorly and with such disrespect.

Linda was so sweet and peppy and I had been having a bad day she made it 100 times better. I literally forgot it had been a bad day because of her. She helped us get points or stars for the first time on the Starbucks app and I have had for a while. The drinks were the best they have ever been (literally ever and I drink a lot of Starbucks) and she was just so kind. That girl deserves a raise, a big one. You want to keep her there, that is the type of worker you want. If you see this Linda, thank you so much, your kindness and your smile has an impact on people. I love and Jesus loves you too!!! ❤️ Thank you for making me smile.

This place used to have a better atmosphere back in the 2010s when it would stay open till 10 or 11pm at night. Lots of studious college and med students as well as high schoolers.
Still good though but closes early now and no longer a late night hangout for those in the Cahaba Heights, Liberty Park, and Mountain Brook areas.

I had to listen to a Starbucks barista and his girlfriend carry on for 20 minutes about the status of their relationship after his girlfriend came into the store. Not to mention him step out to give her some PDA. He might have even been the manager!
Love this Starbucks location! My drinks are always made just right, food is delicious, and team members are so kind! Stephen in the drive thru is always so friendly to my children too. Thanks!!

Updated 3/20/24 sadly, we were unable to achieve our goal (and daily ritual) of a caramel Frappuccino for me and mocha for my husband. We started yesterday with Norman creating very bitter drinks. We sent the drinks back, someone else remade them & they were fine. We return the next day and the mocha was fine but the caramel Frappuccino was bitter, slushy with ice instead of creamy and tasted awful. Sent it back and Norman made it again - the exact same way! There was very little caramel lining the cup and I noticed he poured several ingredients in the cup before putting it in the blender and seemed to be skipping the cream base, which is what makes it creamy. We returned it and gave up, deciding to go to a different store. After 18 months of daily visits, driving past several other locations to visit the Cahaba Heights location because Dell always made them perfectly, it looks like Norman has forced us to try a new location :(Original review: Dell is always so friendly & makes sure my order is made correctly. The whole staff is friendly, professional and give off a good vibe.
Parking: Parking can be tight between the 4pm-6pm time frame, but that's only because people don't want to park in the overflow lot next to the drive thru. If you're getting a "to go" order, just use the drive thru to avoid any potential parking concerns.
