Food not very good. My wife ordered the smoked chicken salad expecting a salad with smoked chicken. Turned out it was 2 scoops of chicken salad on a small bed of lettuce with saltine crackers on the side. Looked more like an appetizer. Manager said he would not charge us and offered her an option. Since there wasn’t anything else on menu that appealed to her she asked for a small portion of pork. The manager still charged us saying that the pork cost about the same. My chicken taco order was 2 small tacos with some pork and some diced tomatoes and raw onions. Overpriced for what I had.

The garden salad and fried okra were great vegetarian options. We enjoyed a great lunch on the patio! The sound of the rain was very relaxing. The service was great. He made great suggestions for food and a frozen drink for dessert.

The first time I went, I sat at the bar for 20 minutes and the bartender never acknowledged me, there was only one other person at the bar at the time. I went back last night and the bartender was extremely rude and when I asked for a drink menu, he threw it at me and walked away. Horrible place and I do not recommend.

This place was a pretty big miss. They had a band come that was playing way too loud for a restaurant, the food was mediocre, and the service was fairly untrained. If I had to describe this restaurant, I would say it was like a bbq place in a bowling alley. I got the seafood dip that was the same texture as ice cream, but tasted decent enough. The vinegar slaw was not very good and the pork wasn’t ideal. The ribs that we got were dry and just plain bad. Can’t say I’ll be back unfortunately.

Do you like mouthwatering food with live music and an atmosphere so great it felt un-earthly? If so, The Palm and Pig is for you. The Smoked wings are simply to die for. Staff is kind, welcoming, and friendly. They go above and beyond to serve both on the floor and in the kitchen, and the results are evident. My only complaint is that I am unable to give this restaurant a Michelin star rating.
