A bit of a hidden gem, the food & service here are fantastic. My dad and I were looking for a lunch spot after his appointment at the VAMC but didn’t want to deal with the hassle of trying to find parking or waiting to be seated. It was a short drive to the ridge and I must say, we’re blown away. Everyone was so welcoming, the food surpassed our expectations, and it was inexpensive! We’ll definitely be back.

I visited this establishment on April 6th. I ordered Cahaba king and bomb tots - the food was okay, nothing to brag about. But I absolutely have to brag on my server - Bryant. He was OUTSTANDING! He went above and beyond to make sure my visit was perfect. I was not planning on coming back but will definitely be back, thanks to Bryant!

Service was great! The decor is pretty outdated. We ordered the riblets & they sent rotten celery out on the plate. It was literally rotted, mushy & translucent. We pointed it out to the server & he scooped it off the plate with a napkin ?

Me and family had the chicken and waffles....omg amazing ????
The food was spectacular, me and my boyfriend loved every single thing we got. However, I didn’t give it 5 stars because nobody sat us down when we walked in. We were just kind of standing around while people were staring at us. Also it’s not that they weren’t friendly, they just didn’t really smile or make eye contact. Restaurant was kind of plain and boring too. Anyways, the actual food was great and we’d come back to eat here! Also beware, entrance a little odd.. had to park and walk up a stairwell to get there. It’s kind of tucked away in the corner.
The is a nice, local restaurant on the second floor of the shopping center on Rocky Ridge Road near Publix. It's a bit tucked away, but it's well-worth finding. The have a good assortment of burgers, salads, and sandwiches as well as some great entrees. It feels like a hometown place. The items on the wall celebrate the Vestavia Hills community and schools.

The Ridge is the coziest place in vestavia to grab a meal with your family or business colleagues. It is "Cheers" off Rocky Ridge for us Vestavians!

Delicious and well prepared entrees every time I've been there. Wonderful service even when super busy. Don't order the Junkyard Dog unless you are hungry, that thing is massive and a flavor explosion with every bite.
