I have celiac disease and lactose intolerance and seriously cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is very knowledgeable about cross contact. They even have a separate oven for gluten free pizzas! Every pizza on the menu could be made gluten/dairy free. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I will be coming here regularly!

This was my first visit to Troup's. I was impressed with the food. The place is very loud, though. We were celebrating a birthday and we were seated at two separated tables which was fine. However, when we started opening presents, the manager told us that we would have to vacate one of the tables for other diners, even though we were not finished with our meal. He was very rude but finally backed off. That is not an experience I care to repeat!

My sister and I ate in there for the first time during the iron bowl. We both said how the pizza reminded us of the old Yankee Pizza that used to be in the same spot years ago. We really enjoyed the pizza.

We first visited this pizza place the day after Black Friday 2024. The pizza is delicious, the salad superb, and the atmosphere wonderful. Service was quick and tidy. The pricing isn’t too bad either. An excellent meal option for visitors to the area.

Met a great friend for dinner after work around 5:30p. You cant go wrong with the Big Kahuna. We ate outside and it was wonderful. The window of time, weather wise, is near perfect for outdoor dining enjoyment. Troups typically has a respectable variety of beer, both canned and draft. My favorite pizza place.

Tried troups for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was blown away! I am a former GM of a NY style pizza restaurant and so im picky with my pizza. This is hands down better than Slice or Davenports! Best pizza ive had in the area by far!
One of the best places to eat in Birmingham! Besides the delicious pizza, the appetizers, salads and pastas are great! If they have a special, you may want to try it. 😉 The owners and staff are great! Highly recommend!

The food i received was entirely depressing!! Paid $40 for a large cheese pizza & a meatball Calzone (+meatballs)...#1: Cheese pizza needs sauce or else it's basically cheese sticks #2: Calzones come with Sauce on the inside with a side of sauce ... where's my sauce for inside my calzone?? Pictures attached! I will not be going back and I love pizza. I COULD MAKE THIS IN MY SLEEP...AND... GUESS WHAT!?!? ID REMEMBER THE PIZZA SAUCE FOR THE INSIDE!!

This place is top notch! Love that there's a family owned pizza joint close to where we live. You order and pay at the counter, then have a seat and they bring it out to you. They have a lot of cool pizzas on their menu and the service was fast. The young lady that brought out our pizza was very nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and families like to come here on the weekends. I can see why. We got the big kahuna pizza and it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy. The cheese was hot and melty. I liked the jalapenos and ham on there. Overall, a great flavor combo. The prices are good for what you get. I burnt my mouth trying to eat the pizza too fast but that's my fault. It looked too good and I couldn't wait for it to cool lol. Honestly, one of the best pizza places in the area. We will be back because I'm curious about the katchapuri and beignets.
